First Look: Chris Hemsworth in Battle Scene on "Thor 2" SetSubmit Comment
"Thor: The Dark World" is currently filming in the Bourne Woods of Surrey, England, where director Alan Taylor ("Game of Thrones") is filming a huge battle scene, featuring Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander), and lots of extras, props and horses.

A letter sent out by the production explains that "the sequence involves a battle between two kingdoms, ending in our comic book hero arriving to save the day. The sequence will involve a substantial amount of stunts and controlled special effects."

Check out the photos below and see the movie in theaters on November 8th, 2013.

Set design and costumes have ZERO artistic inspiration, and the chick riding horseback reminds me of Xena.

First film was fun because it was comedic, playing off Thor's sudden humanity, and the fact we could relate to pretty much all the characters, even after Thor became a god again, but this film appears to be far more mythological, more abstract, darker even, less grounded in the modern world, and as such, it's going to be less a round-the-house crowd pleaser than the first.

Strangely enough...

I'm more turned on by a fit girl riding a horse than a fit horse riding a girl.

Sif is so f*cking Hot. She better have a bigger rol this time around. The first few pics almost look like her and Thor are fighting each other?

Of course.

She's straddling the gauze and he tried to mount her.

I would so sodomize Sif, while JB would sodomize the poor horse.
Ranger writes:

Pretty sure _JB_ would let the horse sodomize him.

Or give the horse JB's patented rim job.

Looks very good, I say bring these on more the merrier. Battle scenes look great, love the mythological aspect (Pointed out by mink) might give more insight into Thor's world. If they keep these all matching up it could be epic with characters crossing paths. My only wish is that Marvel get back Spider-Man as he is essential to the Marvel universe.

to give credit where it is due
james cameron was very brave
to put an anti america message
in the middle of AVATAR

remember when all the soldiers
are lock and load
sam worthington says
through gritted teeth

''this is how it's done
when people are sittin on sh*t you want
you make em your enemy
then you're justified in taking it''

as he says that the camera stays on
michelle rodriguez
that way the film keeps moving forward without looking like wothington
is making a speech to the audience

well done James Cameron :)

all you gotta do now
is be brave enough to say it out loud
like Clint Eastwood
