20th Century Fox has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming "Parental Guidance" comedy, starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei, Bailee Madison and Tom Everett Scott. Check it out below.
Plot: Artie and Diane Decker (Crystal, Midler) are called in by their daughter (Tomei) to help care for their three grandkids. When their old school methods of parenting collide with their grandchildren's new school and way of life, the once-orderly household spins out of control, and Artie and Diane must employ some unexpected tactics, including a new parenting style for themselves, to help teach their grandkids how to actually act like kids.
The new movie is directed by Andy Fickeman (Race to Witch Mountain, The Game Plan) and is set to hit theaters on Christmas (December 25th).
Funny premise though, how parenting has changed over the years. But it tells you something when they do the ol' hit-to-the-balls gag that reeks of desperation. They're really reaching...
Crystal needs to go back to standup. The guy has lost his edge IMO. Robin Williams has gone back & has reminded the younger generation of his roots. Crystal could do that or really choosing funny cameos like Murray.

Ah, yes, Race to Witch Mountain and The Game Plan. Those two exemplary Dwayne Johnson films. I can hear the critics' hurrah already.

"The guy has lost his edge IMO"
Probably has something to do with his face losing its edge...
