Brett Ratner May Direct "Justice League of America" MovieSubmit Comment
When Warner Bros announced that it will finally bring "Justice League of America" to the big screen, the studio said that it will look for a director who understands comic books and working with multiple characters.

We already heard that Ben Affleck is being considered for the job, but after the success of "The Town," he's considered for every big-budget Warner Bros film. It was also recently reported that the Wachowskis (The Matrix) are on the list of contenders for their work on "The Matrix" and being able to handle a large cast on "Cloud Atlas."

And now comes word that the studio is interested in Brett Ratner (Rush Hour), who directed "X-Men: The Last Stand" and was set to helm "Superman Returns" before Bryan Singer took over.

Holy crap. The #4 best way to eff up a super hero movie: Hire Brett Ratner
FBO writes:

Which barely beats out #5: Hire a mentally challenged bondage enthusiast... Which is kinda ironic if you think about it...

Worst choice ever... I'd rather have Uwe Boll do it than him lol At least you can laugh how bad his movies are instead of cringing at X-Men the last stand. God, that was an awful movie

Why did Singer leave X3 for Superman Returns? Both movies ended up bombing. Singer could have stuck with X3 and completed the trilogy, and Brett Ratner could have added his dumb jokes to Superman Returns. Then we'd come out with a good X-Men at least!

I say get jonathan frakes. Hes a talented director and is credible with the con crowds. He has been a very successful tv director. He also has directed multiple Star Trek movies and episodes including First Contact. First Contact is still considered by many to be the 2nd best film in the franchise, and to some the best one. He has proved that he can handle fantasy/action with a large cast. He is about as successful of a director as wheedon was when he got the avengers as well. He will also come cheap as well. I think with good writers(which they have) and a strong cast, frakes would make a good match. He is well liked by the actors he directs and is also know for being frugal with time and money which every studio would love to hear. His nickname is two takes frakes.

I love that none of these articles on the Justice League have any proof or quotes or anything. All of these things that have been popping up online lately have been complete bull.

Wasn't Ratner banging one of the tennis phenom Williams sisters a while back? Not the skinny one, but the one that looks like Michael Clarke Duncan in a mini-skirt?
