Video: Did David Letterman Spoil the End of "The Dark Knight Rises"? Posted: July 14th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Anne Hathaway appeared on "The Late Show" to promote "The Dark Knight Rises," which is set to hit theaters on July 20th. While discussing the movie, Letterman dropped a major spoiler, something that he immediately took back, claiming that it was just a joke. SPOILERS AHEAD: Letterman said that Batman will die at the end, something that "The Dark Knight Rises" trailers have been hinting at. It's not clear if he was indeed joking, but there are plenty of theories out there. Christian Bale already said that he would be willing to return for a fourth movie if Christopher Nolan returns. If Batman dies, how could Bale return? On the other hand, Nolan already stated many times that this is the last film in his take on Batman, promising fans a definitive conclusion. Watch the video of Letterman below.

He dies, I'll bet, because we see Catwoman ride off on the Batpod, alone, into the fading day. I assume this means his death is at least heavily implied.

Letterman is as predictable and tiring. His schtick wore off years ago. He's like Leno. Zzzz...

Rodney King is dead, as well as Charlie Sheen's assistant. I don't care about either. I'm just sayin.

Yeah. I stopped caring after the Twatlight lady sparkled for the last time.

Its probably some character dies not Bruce Wayne meaning he gives the protection of Gotham over to catwoman and bat wing or somesh*t.

It looks like she rides off into falling sunset to me. That's a good ending. Cliched, but classic.
Why are you STILL bitching anyway? Do you WANT me to say something negative?

Nice, if risky PR.

He probably does die. If Chris wants this to be the end and no more sequels then that's what he'd do

Bane- Thanks for the link, I'll put it in her nut filled brownie.
If he dies, he dies!

You're all retarded f*cks. Bane does the backbreaker on batman essentially crippling bruce wayne, bruce wayne doesnt die but its impossible for him to be batman anymore, and im sure catwoman takes it from there, hence nolan stating catwoman should get her own spinoff movie.
minkowski writes: on July 14th, 2012 at 2:33:42 PM
^^He doesn't break his back. It was already stated Bane breaks Wayne's leg, and you can see him with a cane talking to Q. WALKING. People with a broken back don't walk around.
minkowski writes: on July 14th, 2012 at 6:19:16 PM
lol, I get it. you think he gets his back broken at the END of the movie. Okay. Maybe. But I don't see how that ties in with the title, The Dark Knight Rises. Kind of dumb for Wayne to get captured by Bane, wounded with a broken leg, returns to take on the Batman mantle again, only for Bane to break his back at the end.
Even by TDK comparison, that's pretty much all over the place.

'You're all retarded f*cks.' --- better that than having a mom that's a whore.
