As promised, we now have the trailer for Sam Raimi's "Oz The Great and Powerful," which is a "Wizard of Oz" prequel that stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams. Check it out below.

Plot: When Oscar Diggs (Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot-fame and fortune are his for the taking-that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Kunis), Evanora (Weisz) and Glinda (Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting.

Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity-and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Whatever, great job Hollywood, try to make an update of the Wizard of Oz and all you can make is some stupid crap about a girl losing her sister from texting while driving.

Looks better than John Carter and the Spider man Trilogy

Wow, not even Mila can save this. She could be naked the whole time and it still would'nt save it.

Just reading the plot was satisfying enough
thx

Plot reads like Obama's presidency. Except for the whole 'better man' bullsh*t.

@ Minkowski

I think creativity died a long time before that. =

Looks like fun. I've always wanted to see the land of Oz recreated.

the cgi in oz looks half baked.... i'll wait for a real trailer, not just a random compilation of whatever shots are rendered or almost done.

The original movie is gay as hell anyway.

Alice in Francoland. Or Franco in Raimiland. Or Raimi in Burtonland.

Remake Birth of a Nation, Hwood. Directed by Spike Lee. Starring Christopher Lee, Jason Lee, Jason Scott Lee, Jet Li and Tommy Lee Jones.

@Rambo

Surprisingly, it's Michelle Williams.
I thought you were referring to the blond at 1.16.
Break that ass in half. Literally.
