First Set Photos from "Mad Max: Fury Road"Submit Comment
Today we have the first photos from the set of "Mad Max: Fury Road," which was initially set to begin shooting in January of 2011, but heavy rains turned an apocalyptic landscape into a flower garden.

Now that all the dust and dirt is back, we have some photos of the vehicles being used, in addition to a look at Rosie Huntington-Whitely (Transformers: Dark of the Moon), Zoe Kravitz (X-Men: First Class), Riley Keough (Magic Mike) and Adelaide Clemens.

"Fury Road" is the fourth film in the "Mad Max" franchise and stars Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky, originally played by Mel Gibson. The rest of the cast includes Charlize Theron as Furiosa and Nicholas Hoult as Nux. It is directed by George Miller and will be released late 2013.

This will bomb. Only thing that can save this a is charlize and rosie thunderdome battle with something mechanical other than chainsaws.

Well, they say the seas are a-rising, and I hope so. I pray the first place to go underwater is Hollywood and all the dipsh*t communists therein.

I have a question about this Mad Max future...it's hot, and dry. Shouldn't these people be looking for food and water instead of building tanker trucks out of Volkswagons and barbeque grills?

They should be f*cking
Obviously

I'm wondering when this film is supposed to take place in the life of Max. Is it a story about the young Max's days? Hardy is too young looking to play the Max post-Thunderdome. Maybe Miller will have a Godfather 3-type ending. At the end of Fury Road, it will cut to the future. There, at the Sunnyvale Apocalyptic Rest Home for Road Warriors, we find an old Max(played by Gibson) suffering a heart attack and falling out of his chair.

All the money hollywood has, and they cant just build a time machine and bring back 25 year old Mel to make another Mad Max? Do something worhthwhile with that money you greedy sc*m.

Rosie Huntington-Whitely is a bad choice. she may be hot but she can't bloody act, it's a fact.

And f*ck You George Miller for making me wait until late 2013! *sshole.

In case you haven't heard "Ænema" by Tool, youshould really listen to it, I think you would agree with the lyrics :D
minkowski writes:

Indeed. lol.
.
.
.
.
The song comes from the band's hate for Hollywood, Los Angeles, and most California in general. They don't like all the fake people, the fake life, the fake everything. They don't like the way many people in California live. They hardly "live" at all. Everything's shallow.

California represents America. Our media comes from California. The song is called "Aenema" because if California were to be "flushed away", America would be cleansed.

"Enema" is a term for an anal cleansing (lawl). If California was to be flushed away, America would be cleansed.

"California represents America."

And Texas. The two demons competing for our soul.

LOL the vehicle looks like the Ninky Nonk (ref. In the Night Garden - childrens show). Looks kinda lame. Might as well drag a canon ball on a chain.
