20th Century Fox launched a viral marketing campaign to promote "Prometheus," but apparently planned to continue it even after the film hit theaters. In fact, there's already something planned for October.
Just like many other people, MovieViral stayed throughout the end-credits in hope of a bonus scene. That didn't happen, but we did get a Weyland Corp logo (pictured) with a web address (WeylandIndustries.com/Timeline) that takes us to a timeline of the major company events. On October 11th, 2012, the company was incorporated and there's a little flag that takes us to another website (WhatIs101112.com).
On that website is a picture of a book by Friedrich Nietzsche and a video (watch below) of Peter Weyland (Guy Pearce) reciting Nietzsche to himself, saying "I am a law only for my kind, I am no law for all."
It's not clear what any of that means and what Fox is planning for October 11th, 2012. The obvious answer is that it's the DVD/Blu-ray date of the movie, but I'm not sure how likely that is. DVDs are usually released on a Tuesday, and October 11th is a Thursday.
10th of November if you're British like Scott, either way it's probably the Bluray date.

Guy is refering to the behind the scenes blu ray reveal of all the "lawless" animal like orgies that went on during filming. Apparently theron was a dominatrix in order to stay in character...that dedicated girl....
Could be the release date of Aliens Colonial Marines

I am going to go out on a limb and say bluray/dvd release. Also, the fact that they are trying to tie Nietzsche to this steaming pile of garbage only adds to the pretentiousness of the film.
I hope for this upcoming date, Mr. Weyland can give us the proper answers that we were looking on Prometheus and we couldn't find it!!!!!! Who is god? Who create the engineers? What is the black ooze and what is it purpose? And most important, what the hell the engineers were doing in that planet?

@Ranger, you do realize that comments like that could lead to a police investigation if he reported them as a legitimate threat to his child's safety. Threats of rape and murder against a minor could be enough to open a federal investigation against you if he contacts the authorities.
