Disney recently revealed that it will be releasing "The Avengers" on DVD and Blu-ray on September 25th, promising to also make available a ten-disc Blu-ray collection.

Today we have a look at that ten-disc collection, called "Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One - Avengers Assembled (10-Disc Limited Edition Six-Movie Collector's Set)," which contains:

* The Avengers (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
* Captain America: The First Avenger (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
* Thor (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
* Iron Man 2 (Blu-ray)
* The Incredible Hulk (Blu-ray)
* Iron Man (Blu-ray)
* Bonus Disc - "The Phase One Archives" (Blu-ray)

The entire collection will come in a package that will be unveiled on July 15th. For now, we have a teaser image of it, which looks like Nick Fury's briefcase that's used to transport the Cosmic Cube. You can pre-order the collection now on Amazon for $153.30.

Check out the teaser image below, in addition to shots of a Helicarrier Blu-ray case that was designed by fan who claims that it can hold as many as fifty discs.

Heli-carrier case looks pretty cool, But definitely not worth the Amazon price. I've got most of them downloaded anyway.

Tease me all you want..unless your including a sexy clone of Scarlett Jo with that collection I'm not interested.

"Behind the Scenes with Hawkeye" will include a comprehensive look at how the special effects mavericks of ILM constructed especially built stilts and box steps for actor Jeremy Renner to stand alongside fellow cast members.

Meanwhile, "Black Widow's Behind Scenes" will feature an in depth look at the visually compelling actress Scarlett Johansson's gluteus maximus as she slowly attaches and removes her infamous leather costume.

I mean, that's cool and all, but it does seem like they're doing all they can to milk the success of The Avengers just a little too hard.

I mean, back the hand off the teat for just a second, Marvel, and let the f*cking cow catch its f*cking breath.

Why so many movies? Almost everyone has them already...

The mose blatant display of money grabbing that I have seen...still trying to make up the costs for JOHN CARTER OF MARS, huh?

Having said that, the 10 disk is a good way for the "non-geeks" to catch up on "Movie Avengers 101".

"Having said that, the 10 disk is a good way for the "non-geeks" to catch up on "Movie Avengers 101"."

It's also a great way for Disney to catch up on "Not Going Broke 101".

It's actually the perfect time for them to set this up. Phase 1 collection to make more money on the movies already out, then get Phase 2 collection with all the new sequels added on for twice the price. Disney is going to milk the hell out of these marvel movies until everyone has 4 copies of each movie.

That fan boy case almost makes the large price tag worth it, although I'm sure price would be higher if they went with it

I wonder if the bonus disks have the Agent Coulson shorts?

Oh, and that heli-carrier case is a 3D mockup, and not a great one at that. The designer is probably looking to see how much he can get for pre-orders before he tries to make a 'real' one.

This or The Bond box?

Why buy this when Avenger super hero movies, (and Avengers sequels) continue to be produced?

Thor 2 comes out and this box-set is out-dated.

Save your $'s for retirement.
