Today we have the trailer for "Lay the Favorite," starring Bruce Willis, Rebecca Hall, Joshua Jackson, Frank Grillo, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Vince Vaughn. It is directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen). Check out the trailer below.
Plot: Beth Raymer (Hall) is a beautiful girl with a big heart who leaves her dancing job at a Florida strip club to become a Las Vegas cocktail waitress. In walks Dink (Willis), a professional sports bettor who sees through her bubbly exterior and offers her a job placing wagers all over town to gain an advantage over the casinos.
Her surprisingly impeccable mind for numbers soon cements her status as Dink's good-luck charm, until his gorgeous-but-frigid wife, Tulip (Zeta-Jones), starts to get jealous. Faced with no other choice but to fire Beth, Dink's luck runs out when she heads to New York to work for a smarmy bookie, a turn of events that lands her squarely on the wrong side of the law.
However, Rebecca Hall is an insainly beautiful woman with an incredible body and some cherry DSL. So, if she shows her tits or ass -- or even saunders around in a bikini -- I might pick this one up as a rental.

Lay the Favorite?
I would lay Rebecca Hall and then Catherine Zeta Jones. And then Rebecca Hall again for my own sloppy seconds.
Getting sloppy seconds from yourself is awesome. The only thing cooler than f*cking a hot-ass chick who just f*cked a really cool guy -- like, say, Tom Selleck -- is f*cking a hot-ass chick who just f*cked YOU!
I have a very difficult time accepting the notion any woman, short of the lowest of gold-diggers, would find someone as old and bald as Willis is currently, attractive on any level, unless the man's character has one hell of a personality, so this has all the failure of authenticity of those insurance commercials you see with the hot wife and the fat old husband.
@ Cannon: you said it man, the comedy seems very forced. I'm sure the script is ok but the the delivery is all wrong. Comedic timing is tough, and it doesn't look like the cast (especially this new chick) has the skills to master it. It's the Whole Nine Yards without the timing, and that's no bueno. This will bomb at the BO.
