ScreenDaily sat down with director Lee Daniels, who is promoting "The Paperboy" at the Cannes Film Festival. Daniels revealed that he has cast Minka Kelly (The Roommate) to play Jackie Kennedy in his next film, called "The Butler," which already stars Matthew McConaughey as John F Kennedy.
The story revolves around a White House butler, Eugene Allen (Forest Whitaker), who served eight American Presidents over the course of three decades. "It is ultimately a father son story with a civil rights backdrop," said the helmer.
The rest of the cast includes Oprah Winfrey as Allen's wife, John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan, Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan, and Cuba Gooding Jr, David Oyelowo, Lenny Kravitz and Terrence Howard. The plan is to begin filming on July 16th.

This would be an excellent play
Maybe in a few years it would be worthy of a movie with more thought out casting
Rickman playing Reagan is more comedic than historic
Bill Hader playing Alan Rickman playing Reagan would kill

Sounds alot like a mash up of bobby/forest gump from the perspective of the black help. Throw in a scene where the butler accidently walks in on minka naked getting dressed and my ass just might be in a seat for it
