First Look: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in "The Tomb"Submit Comment
Entertainment Tonight visited the set of "The Tomb" action thriller, which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, and got the first footage from the new movie. Check it out below.

The story follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world's foremost authority on structural security. He's analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray's ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he's ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.

Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.

"The Tomb" is directed by Mikael Hafstrom (1408, Derailed) and co-stars Jim Caviezel, 50 Cent, Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan and Vincent D'Onofrio. It's set to hit theaters next year.

Why the hell didn't these guys make films together years ago !! Instead of now when they are looking as old as time.

That said i'm still gonna watch it ...

2 old farts trying to escape from a high security prison; hm, at least we know that they won't be somebody's bitches. Better have a thilling plot to keep us going until the end of the film.

And yeah, they should have done this years ago...

The Tomb sums is up nicely.

Is it me or Sly is helping Ahnuld giving him some work to get back on his feet off governor/ divorce hold ups?

Its not unheard of. Stallone helped Mickey Roarke get back on his feet by hiring him for GET CARTER--Hell, Sly even lets him kick his ass in the middle of the movie (which Mickey is the best part of the small role IMO).

They interviewed Mickey & said he only did THE EXPENDABLES just because he owed Stallone. Stallone helped him out & gave him work where he found him in a restaurant eating soup he couldn't even pay for..

I doubt Ahnuld is that bad, but you get the idea.

Reminds me of Tough Guys where Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas rob the same train that put'em in jail in the first place.
It was my first intro to RedHotChiliPeppers

Damn, they both look very old.

Stallone and Arine looks so old.

I wish these two made a action movie 15 years ago when they were young but now I don't know if these guys deserve to be together in action movie.

Some people are comparing this movie to Heat when Panico and DeNiro got together in a action movie for the first time but still Panico and DeNiro looked bit younger than Arine and Stallone.

I just hope The Tomb turns out to be the action movie that fans wanted Stallone and Arine to be in or this idea of a huge teamup will fall apart.

Panico and Arine would make a great team.

Ummm Arnold and Sly look "old" because the are old. Both are over 60. These are the Eastwood years for them but that doesn't mean they can't still make an entertaining movie. Sly is still in better shape than most(if not all) of us and Arnold looks more realistic with the grey and lack of Herculean muscle. I look forward to seeing how both adjust to their more senior roles in Hwood and pray that neither end up like Mad Mel (insane) or Steven Seagal (fat).
bandolero999 writes:

Mad Mel actually looks worse than sly and Arnold.all that alcohol abuse f*cked his looks up.

I hope 50 cent dies quick.f*cking waste of space.

This is the first movie I ever see Arine with grey hair.

@CelluloidMan Arnold was offered The Tomb before Sly. Arnold accepted to return in The Tomb just to work together as lead men. It's Arnold who is helping Sly's carrer appearing on Expendables and now The Tomb. Sly isn't doing favors to Arnold.

Okay maybe I was wrong for saying that Stallone and Arine are too old for action but who knows that these two might not get do mainstream movies anymore.

I mean good looking, bad acting actors like Robert Patterison, Taylor Luather, Zac Efron, Shia LeBeouf and others are taking over the action movie gerne.

Back in the day, the action used to have Van Damme, Lundgren, Norris, Chan, Lorze Lamas, Dudikoff and other classic action actors.

There's little action guys in the movie instudary that's what I am trying to say.

Nawtnt
I suggest you watch action movies from China,Thailand,Korea,Vietnam, and now Indonesia with movies like the raid and merantau warrior.

After you watch a couple of their movies you will no longer care about hollywood mainstream sh*t.

The action genre in the east has never died.

Jesus, Arnie, dye that sh*t black! You might actually look cool again instead of resembling an old sock.
