Back in 2006, 20th Century Fox was working on "The Simpsons Movie," and premiered a teaser trailer for the animated film in front of theatrical showings of Fox's "Ice Age: The Melt Down."
Now, during last night's Season Finale of "The Simpsons," it was revealed that Maggie will star in a 3D animated theatrical short, called "The Longest Daycare," and it will appear in front of theatrical showings of "Ice Age: Continental Drift," which is set to hit theaters on July 13th.
The short is directed by David Silverman, the helmer behind "The Simpsons Movie." Check out a teaser for the short below.
It's doubtful that the short will somehow be an announcement that a new "The Simpsons" movie is in the works. It's likely just a way to get fans of the show to go see the new "Ice Age" film. Stay tuned.
And thanks in advance for the snarky retort in advanced. Your cynicism is hilarious. Laughing at you not with you
I wouldnt be surprised if you, who spends every waking moment on this site working hard on each new post, runs a few of the profiles on here to make his "mark" on the world
I love all the *ssholes on this site like minkowski that go out of their way to say negative things about literally every movie posted on this site. I bet you're too pretentious to recognize films like casablanca and cool hand luke as brilliant films. You probably consider them attempts at pandering to "hipster" audiences. You "regulars" are awful people. If you hate every f*cking movie (which you all seemingly do) get the f*ck off the off here. You go out of your way to talk sh*t about everything. I'm too drunk to say anything else. Get hit by all the trains, planes, and automobiles in the world. Talk sh*t about that movie and I will dig up john candy's corpse and inject his phallus with enough embalming fluid so it is hard and rigid and rape you into the next decade. You'll probably jerk off to the thought because of how cynical the prospect is. Go watch the artist you f*cking *ssholes.
