Marvel Planning New "Hulk" Movie for 2015

Posted: May 1st, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Marvel Planning New "Hulk" Movie for 2015Submit Comment
Just in the last decade, The Hulk has been played by three different actors in three different movies. Both "Hulk" and "The Incredible Hulk" ended up profitable, but not enough for Marvel to give the character a sequel.

And even though The Hulk is in "The Avengers" and is being called the highlight of the film, Marvel head Kevin Feige still insists that a new stand-alone Hulk movie is not being planned. "This was the third appearance of Hulk and everything that we had and were going for, we put in to Hulk's appearance in 'Avengers.'"

It turns out that Feige is not being completely truthful, because Paul Fitter, Marvel's President of Consumer Products, just revealed that the company is "pleasantly surprised by the phenomenal response [to the Hulk]," adding that if the character continues being this popular, Marvel will "spin him off to a stand-alone program next year" by giving the character his own movie in 2015.

He looked the best he ever has on it, I think stay away from the military as an enemy and give him things to 'smash' and sh*t.

Hulk was the best thing about Avengers. I say "bring it on!".

Bring Ruffalo back, hire a damn good writer/director, then PROFIT

I hope they are still consistent with continuity in the Hulk solo movie. For example, bringing back the dude who was going to play The Leader. I forget his name, but I enjoyed his time onscreen. Also the dude who plays General Ross.

Have The Leader and some other huge, formidable villian that'd be a "challenge" to HULK. Should be sweet

Just make him do the Hulk smash thing for 120 minutes and you already have the 18 to 35 ADHD crowd, which is like, what, 90% of that group?

If they do a sequel, for the love of god let it follow The Incredible Hulk movie, not some sort of fast ass reboot. Just go with it and write a better script

Don't get me wrong i like Marvel and am super stoked for the Avengers film but i do recall Einstein had this quote about insanity ... this would prove it . If it does get Green lit ( pun ) introduce a new member of the Avengers and have them come in to the fold for Avengers II .

I saw the avengers movie last thursday and it was everything I hoped it would be and bit more. ILM Hulk looked incredibly good, far better than the rythm&hues Hulk, which is no surprise after 4 years I admit. But it was so much fun to watch, and the MARK VII kicks f*ckin ass its an engineered beauty.

But can Hulk carry another movie? Can Marvel give us something we havent seen before? Sure Banner is a complex character but Hulk? As Mink said in the end it will always be HULK SMASH!..... I'd still go and pay to watch it though xD

For now go and watch Avengers! It's awesome.... by the way, the theatre applauded when Hulk took on Loki.... nuf said!

Stop talking about Batman in a HULK thread you fools. Type that sh*t where you're supposed to.

THEY SHOULD JUST MAKE JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 ALREADY AND INSTEAD OF MAKING 3 AVENGER MOVIES THEY SHOULD JUST MAKE IT AN 8 PART MINI SERIES ON HBO

Betting Ruffalo will get the gig but seems iffy in the character's longevity.

Looking at his Ruffalo's CV, it's hard to say if he'll look out for quality on the script and evolution of the character like RDJ has/ will do.

It would really fall on the director...which is another bad history that Marvel has with his properties. But when they get it right (X-MEN, AVENGERS, SPIDERMAN), they REALLY hit the jackpot.

Hoping the best for the Hulk, the property with aspects & arcs they still need to be explored with very good potential in the right hands.

@ funkymonk - Clearly posted those links before it was up as news on this site. Nice to share with people that might be interested and where better than on a super hero thread....so hush up
