Concept Art for NBCs The Munsters RebootSubmit Comment
The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly contains a first look at the concept art for NBC's upcoming reboot of "The Munsters" TV show, to be called "Mockingbird Lane." And today, we have that concept art. Check it out below.

The art shows Grandpa, played by Eddie Izzard, and two version of the Lily, who has yet to be cast. There's also a shot of the house the entire family will be living in. The pilot episode was written by Bryan Fuller and will be directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns) in June.

Regarding the design of the new house, Fuller said: "We wanted the feeling of the original, a house children would walk past fast than other houses." He added that Herman and his werewolf son have yet to be cast, and that he plans to include other creatures from the Universal library, including the Creature from the Black Lagoon and the Invisible Man.

That doesn't look scary (or interesting) at all. And I don't trust in Singer no more. So... meh

NBC still doesn't get it about revamping classics. Bionic Woman....better yet, how about that Wonder Woman series.

I give it 7 episodes tops.
