Today we have the first four minutes from the upcoming "Lockout" sci-fi film, starring Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace (Taken) and Peter Stormare (Fargo). Check it out below.
Plot: A man (Pearce) wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the US is offered freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter (Grace) from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.
The new movie is written by Besson (director of "The Fifth Element" and "The Professional") and directed by James Mather. It is set to hit theaters on April 20th.
There's nothing more disappointing than seeing an action packed trailer followed by a gayass pg-13 rating. What a f*cking c*cktease!!! It's a movie about criminals that are supposedly so bad they had to be locked up in f*cking space, but apparently they won't be tough enough to kill onscreen. F U Hwood!!!
Either this film is extremely awful or the producers are extremely stupid. Then again it could be a little of both.
ah no this is EURO TRASH.screenwriters wrote this for an American audience so that the teenage fans of Hunger Games,Twilight,Vow fans will watch this and rejoice afterwards.so this will later air on the scifi channel.
I like the images and editing so far. For the rest... Sadly Besson is writing movies so sh*tty lately that I could wipe my own ass on a blank page and probably sell him the result as a complete scenario.
although giving away the first four minutes is highly suspect, i thought this was pretty well put together. i'll go along with the 'tyler durden' schtick that mink coins for guy pearce here, too... it works for me. this movie gets better with each successive trailer and tidbit they throw out to the public...
