Leonardo DiCaprio Will Re-Team with Martin Scorsese for "Wolf of Wall Street"Submit Comment
Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese have signed on for their fifth collaboration, called "The Wolf of Wall Street," which will begin shooting this August in New York. The script is written by Terence Winter, the executive producer of "The Sopranos" and "Boardwalk Empire."

The film is based on the Jordan Belfort memoir of his days as a hard-partying, drug addicted stockbroker who was indicted in 1998 for security fraud and money laundering and served a 22-month federal prison sentence.

The other four films that Scorsese and DiCaprio worked on are "Gangs of New York," "The Aviator," "The Departed" and "Shutter Island."

So much for "The Irishman" with DeNiro, Pesci, Pacino etc. And "Silence" with Day-Lewis, Del Toro.

Eh...

Yeah, I already saw this film. It was called Wall Street.

But thanks anyway, Mr and Mrs DiCaprio.

So he broke the law and spent 22 months in prison? Awesome, let's glorify his wrongdoings and make him rich by turning his book into a movie.

Leo's gotta stop TRYING TOO HARD to win critics' approval for his acting craft and just LOOSEN UP and go do something lite and FUN and kick-ass.

and yeah...i'm disappointed scorsese putting off his reunion with De Niro and first time collaboration with Pacino. dang it!
