Video: Karl Urban Does Judge Dredd Voice Posted: February 23rd, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Simon Pegg and Karl Urban are filming the sequel to "Star Trek," and while on set, they decided to shoot a quick video to wish 2000 AD a happy birthday. The British comics anthology, which featured "Judge Dredd," turned 35-years-old. Pegg did the introduction and then handed the camera to Urban for " a birthday greeting from Joe Dredd himself," since Urban plays the title character in the new "Judge Dredd" remake. Urban looked into the camera and said: " Happy Birthday, creeps," in his best Dredd voice. Since we have yet to hear Judge Dredd speak, we have to assume that this is what the character will sound like in the new movie. Check out the video below.

Oh, for a minute I thought the word 'does' was 'dies'.
Damn, got my hopes up this abomination never gets made, what with King Kong's motorcycle helmet and the "Backgrounds From Visual FX Hell".

Sorry Instant-Justice, but you and I know this is going to suck worse than the 'Total Failure' remake. Van or no van.

Did you see any crying DoPs, a pissed off mother or any angry Chinese? No? Couldn't have been Bale then.

At least it's clear: if you try to sound like a badass you just need to rip off Clint Eastwood.

Everything about this is better than that first film.
Spot on Clint/Dredd voice.
A refreshing change from all the closet gay American 'superheroes' with the spandex fetishes.
Dredd = Motorbike cop, like CHIPS crossed with Dirty Harry in the near future just after a huge Atomic War.
Anyway.Captain America wins the silly helmet comp this year.
Something else Slys Dredd got wrong.
@Mink,it IS a motorbike helmet not just a ballistic helmet, hence the size.

"I am the law"...That's the only thing I remember from the original. Has there ever been a remake yet that didn't stroke a d*ckmitten?? I can't think of one.

Dredd was based on Clint.

Dredd is to Dirty Harry what Batman Year 100 is to the Dark Knight. Something like that.

Sort of I think having just quickly read a synopsis on wiki.
rocketman writes: on February 25th, 2012 at 4:37:56 AM
Except Dredd would be the one trying to arrest Batman.

I think I get what you mean, sort of.
