First Look: Sharlto Copley in "The Europa Report" Sci-Fi ThrillerSubmit Comment
Today we have the first photo from "The Europa Report" sci-fi thriller, starring Sharlto Copley (District 9), Michael Nyqvist (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol) and Anamaria Marinca (Perfect Sense). Check it out below.

Plot: A group of astronauts make the arduous journey to Jupiter's frigid, glacial moon Europa in search of extraterrestrial life. The only thing more intimidating and unpredictable than the trip itself is what the team will encounter upon arrival.

The new movie is directed by Sebastian Cordero (Cronicas) and has yet to be acquired for distribution. It will likely hit theaters later this year.

Even though Anamaria looks like that guy from The OC/Southland
This non remake/sequel with this cast sounds way cool

Some original sci-fi is always welcome. Sharlto Copley is an awesome actor, which only add up on the must-see facot on this movie.

Sounds good. I'm always down for some hard sci-fi instead of that pulp trash like Transformers Hollywood serves up more often than not. Has that 2001/Moon vibe going on.

Has anybody heard of this movie CRONICAS?
Curious of how that Sebastian Cordero works...

Also, the big question is plot, 'cause what I learned from COWBOYS & ALIENS is that no matter the great cast or great director, "Story should be King."

I tell you, the more I know about movies, the more I see the whole thing is a toss of the dice...

No wonder the suits go to the easy pay offs with the remakes, books or TV shows...yet it's the all mighty dollars that reall f*cks/ suffocates the artistic merit...

But then again, I'm just stating the obvious...

Unfortunately, no one can be told what Hollywood is. You have to see it for yourself.

The problem is that in Hollywood, you have to choose to take a blue pill, red pill, or some producer's c*ck...

Well, that's what the pornstars tell me...

I 'm still shocked Copley didn't receive any awards for his out standing performance in District 9 and this sounds promising.

Sharlto is an amazing actor

They were going to give him one, Dzeko, but he starred in The A-Team so they decided to take it back.
