"Rambo 5" is Still Happening

"Rambo 5" is Still HappeningSubmit Comment
Sylvester Stallone has been talking about making a fifth "Rambo" movie, but has yet to decide on which direction he would like to take it. Since he's been busy making "The Expendables 2" and is now set for "The Tomb," his writer, Sean Hood has update his Twitter account with an update.

"'Rambo 5' on hold as Sly finishes 'Expendables 2.' He hasn't decided if 'R5' will be an 'Unforgiven' or a 'passing of the torch,'" he wrote, basically confirming that the project is still happening.

With "The Expendables 2" hitting theaters in the summer, Stallone will be hit with plenty of "Rambo" questions, so we'll know what's really going on in a few month.

I just hope Rambo 5 doesn't happen.

Rambo 4 was a great action movie and a good comeback from Stallone.

The ending of the movie was amazing and a great end to the series.

Let's hope that the Rambo franchise doesn't turn into a
money making milking franchine and Stallone leaves the series been for what is now with Rambo 4.

A great end to the character, don't let the studio ruin it

Just film your days at the hospital fighting the bed pan and be done with it, Sly.

He should end the franchise with Rambo 4. The ending scene where he walk to his father's house should be the conclusion of that.

Is gonna be rated PG

Yeah, PG, for pacemaker and geriatrics.

What's it gonna be about. Fighting Russians from the nursing home. Love Stallone but c'mon.

I say Stallone should make a 5th one. The last one was too blood & guts...I much rathered he killed with his bare hands a la Part 2. We see those kids more than Rambo. Who cared about those, goodie two shoe kids?...great ending, though.

Also, it would be nice to finish off the series where it all began, in the states, fighting injustices.

And to hell on passing the torch, nobody could replace Rambo. Those are big f*cking shoes to fill & no one else would do it justice. IMHO.

Rambo 5:First Sag.

I always imagined Rambo coming back and meeting the sheriff from the first one again. The sheriff stares at him terrified and Rambo simply says, "Do you know how much sh*t I went through because you wouldn't let me just get a damn meal?!" LOL Still the fourth one ended perfectly with him returning home and trying to finally live in peace. Made the theme from the first one so appropriate. And man was it a "Long Road Home". LOL

Who he'll be fighting? Arthritis?

Sly is a legend, but in the quiet words of Rambo "Don't push it. Don't push it. (...) Let it go. Let it go."

'... I'll give you a war you won't believe'

The last Rambo ended nicely. He came back home.

Sly... really. Your ego is attention-starved after this many decades? You're worried about being forgotten? You know what should be forgotten? Rocky 5!!! THEN you HAD to come back to fix that with Rocky Balboa. Haven't you learned a f*cking thing?

And careful sleeping in the same hospital room as Arnie. He'll f*ck anything, so bum to the wall!

just leave chuck norris out of it so it can get R rating...

Please don't pass the torch sly.

I'd rather see Oscar 2 or Stop or my mom will shoot 2 or Paradise Alley 2

why is sly back in "90's awful decision" mode?
step behind the camera and direct some statham movies I say.
