Joseph Gordon-Levitt Hires Scarlett Johansson for Directorial DebutSubmit Comment
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is planning to make his directorial debut on an untitled comedy based on a script he wrote. The actor is planning to star in the movie with Scarlett Johansson playing one of the two major female roles.

Gordon-Levitt didn't reveal much about the movie, except that it centers on "a modern day Don Juan and his journey to become less of a selfish d*ck." Voltage Pictures is financing the film and will be selling international rights at the Berlin Film Festival later this week.

Producer is set to star in Los Angeles on April 16th.

Because he is the only guy in Hollywood who hasn't had a piece yet and he feels left out.

You know what, good for him. JGL is the guy in hollywood who completely deserves a chance. Only downside to this is that he most likely won't have time to film his small role in QT's Django Unchained.

Still curious as f*ck about his role in TDKR's.

Selfish d*ck? So that means there's gonna be a lesbian threesome with scar-jo?

I like JGL. Liked him in almost every movie - 50/50, 500 Days of summer, Brick (classic), etc. even his role in Inception (tho underdeveloped) was good.

So if he wants to bang Scarlett, you go buddy. Smart move.

Brick is most assuredly a modern classic, even if it riles and ruffles the feathers of those that would label it as pretentious and lavishly annoying with the use of a stilted pulp fiction vernacular.

I find it engaging, and it's one of the few films in which JGL stars that I can appreciate.

It's not that he's a bad actor, but then again he leaves nothing to the screen that wasn't there already.

Levitt just made the most smartest Hollywood move that will guarantee a successful opening weekend.

Mosby, I am perplexed as well about his role in TDKR. Why have him, such a slick guy as a small time cop in Gordon's unit? I think Bane will break the bat and JGL must step in to take the reigns and BOOM we have a badass transition into a Batman Beyond? Bale can do next movie, less money 30 days of shooting in a wheelchair in the batcave. and you can still use that universe in the next series of movies..idk call me crazy, but i think it could work.
