New "Jurassic Shark" Trailer Arrives Online

Posted: February 8th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
New "Jurassic Shark" Trailer Arrives OnlineSubmit Comment
Back in November, we showed you a trailer for the new shark movie, called "Jurassic Shark." At the time, the movie was still in post-production which is why we didn't get many shots of the actual shark. Today, we have a new trailer that shows the finished CG work, which is clearly stunning. Check it out below.

Plot: When an oil company unwittingly unleashes a prehistoric shark from its icy prison, the Jurassic killer maroons a group of art thieves and a group of college students on an abandoned island.

The new movie stars newcomers Emanuelle Carriere, Christine Emes, and Celine Filion. And the production company behind "Jurassic Shark" is also behind "Aliens vs Avatars."

These is made with a simple formula:

Tequila shots + pot (optional) = Jurassic Shark viewer.

I think we are all interested to hear minks views on the cgi in this movie!!!!!

How does these movies keep on getting financed ?? Drug kartels ?? Who watches this crap, seriously?
Cinemaisdead writes:
on February 8th, 2012 at 11:46:55 AM

BJs- DVD sales on this sort of film must keep financing it. It falls under the "so bad it's good category"
Ranger writes:
on February 8th, 2012 at 11:47:45 AM

There's a HUGE B (C?)-movie following.

These movies cost bugger-all to make (they're not even paying a Seagal salary which is still in the millions) - direct to DVD... and there you go, a financial hit!
Ranger writes:
on February 8th, 2012 at 11:48:18 AM

"so bad it's good category" - exactly.
Ranger writes:
on February 8th, 2012 at 11:58:19 AM

I mean... look at the freeze frame on that video.

She's pulling her girlfriend down saying: 'Don't worry about that shark, I want you to lick the sand outta my clam!'

Who wouldn't want to watch that?
Morbius writes:

So bad it's bad, is probably more accurate.
Yeah, really did look like Dina Meyer.
Ranger writes:
on February 8th, 2012 at 12:24:40 PM

Dina's name (although I could see her not attaching her name to this in the credits), is not appearing on IMDB on either page (her's or this movies).

There's just so many things wrong with this movie.

First, oil companies don't drill in ways that could free anything from anything, other than black gold which is of course under crustal pressure, so how do they make a large enough hole to allow something of this size to escape?

Second, I'd love to know how they think you can freeze a shark of this size for millions of years (the Jurassic Era), and how did the shark avoid thawing as the climate radically changed and as the continents slid about the mantle?

And then there's the difference in ocean acidity, the atmospheric oxygen content, and the enormous lack of a large enough food stock for this ugly thing to survive, because it would have to eat a hundred humans a minute just to maintain it's current weight (per to stupid image).

This movie has moron written all over it.
minkowski writes:

"the Jurassic killer maroons a group of art thieves and a group of college students on an abandoned island"

Because abandoned islands are the very place you'd expect to find art thieves and college students, and not museums and...colleges.
Tanman32123 writes:
on February 9th, 2012 at 12:29:17 PM

lol Mink, i don't think they really care about all that, they just wanted to make a movie not caring about the problems associated with the plot.
Ranger writes:
on February 9th, 2012 at 4:32:44 PM

Yep.
