"Captain America" Director to Helm Micro-Budget Thriller "NSFW"

"Captain America" Director to Helm Micro-Budget Thriller "NSFW"Submit Comment
Director Joe Johnston (Captain America: The First Avenger, The Wolfman) has signed on to direct a micro-budget thriller "Not Safe For Work" for producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious).

Written by British scribes Adam Mason and Simon Boyes, "Not Safe For Work" centers on a young paralegal who is trapped in the office with a killer on a mission to destroy files for another corporation.

Even though Johnston has been making movies with budgets over $100 million, there is a chance that he may actually earn more on "Not Safe For Work" since he'll take part in the back-end that may result in a big pay-day. "Insidious" cost under $2 million, but became the most profitable film of 2011. "Paranormal Activity," "The Last Exorcism" and "The Devil Inside" also all went on to become incredibly lucrative.

First LOL, and now NSFW.

Internet abrreviations are taking over film titles.

Can't wait for Michael Bay's FOAD.

How does this guy keep getting work? He hasn't made anything good in over a decade. He should stick to doing family movies. I personally think that Captain America was the worst Marvel movie so far. It was designed to be a setup for the Avengers, and in that concept, it falls far from being a great stand-alone movie.

CA was a rush job to shove Evans into Avengers. Nothing more. The story/script was hurried and the film really carried no weight. Evans sucks as a leading man and Caps isn't worth the time Marvel has given him.

Captain America was horrible. The first act was good but the rest of the movie played out like an unintentional Rom-com with a superhero in it. He went took the movie in a dumb direction.

It should've had a tone like Saving Private Ryan meets Last of the Mohicans or Superman.

Worst Marvel movie on so many levels. very Little that was done right.

@Theboondockhin

Daredevil's Director's cut is 4 times better than Captain America.

Capt. was a f*cking superhero rom com period piece that was anti climatic.

the only Thing Capt really had going for it was that it was pretty faithful adaptation to the source matrerial but that doesnt mean it was the right one 2 make. it sucked.

And U cant compare marvel movie like Daredevil to Captain America.

Daredevil and Blade ya

Captain America and Iron Man or Thor ya.

They have similar tones.

Spider-man was better than Captian America and Spider-Man was only good for its visuals and soundtrack, nearly nothing else
