"The Help" Wins Big at SAG Awards

"The Help" Wins Big at SAG AwardsSubmit Comment
The 18th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, with "The Help" being the big winner, taking home three awards, including for Best Female Actor (Viola Davis), Best Female Supporting Actor (Octavia Spencer), and Best Cast in a Motion Picture.

"The Descendants" went home empty-handed, but "The Artist," the favorite to win during the Oscars, won one award in the category of Best Male Actor (Jean Dujardin).

On the television side, "Boardwalk Empire" won two awards, while "Modern Family" took home the award for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series, marking the series' second consecutive SAG honor.
