Liam Neeson Confirms "The Dark Knight Rises" Return

Liam Neeson Confirms "The Dark Knight Rises" ReturnSubmit Comment
Back in June, it was revealed that Liam Neeson would return as Ra's Al Ghul in "The Dark Knight Rises." Now, during an interview for "The Grey," the actor confirmed his involvement.

"I can tell you nothing about 'Dark Knight Rises,' seriously," he said. "I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn't tell me anything of what it's about. So, I'm being very honest when I say I have no idea what's going to happen."

It's still unclear how Ra's Al Ghul will return. It may be done through flashbacks or as Neeson previously explained: "In the comic books, Ra's Al Ghul goes into a life bath of some sort and immerses himself to become immortal."

Doesn't really confirm or deny it.

But it does say he is in it on IMDB "TDKR" page.

That's great news, although it will only be a short flashback, still great to have him back.

Ra's returns for the last hour and a half of the movie, kills batman, bane, catwoman and alfred and then the credits roll.

I'm sure he probably kills the End Credits too. Neeson is THAT badass.

Is this official confirmation, though?? It just says he was "on set". He could have just dropped by to visit.

the sort of life bath he immerses himself into is called the lazarus pit mr neeson.

Heath Ledger made Jack Nicholson look like a retarded amateur !

Ledger was the best vilain I've seen on screen, Batman movie or not. He was just brilliant, unrecognizable and most of all very credible. That was real acting & you don't get to see this very often these days.

vilain = villain.

Heath did a good job doing what Nolan wanted, and what Nolan wanted was a green-haired left-wing anarchist, instead of the Joeker familiar to readers of Batman graphic novels.
