"The Crow" Reboot is Back on Track

"The Crow" Reboot is Back on TrackSubmit Comment
Relativity Media was getting ready to reboot "The Crow," with director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) and actor Bradley Cooper attached to the project.

The studio was then sued by The Weinstein Company for the rights to the franchise. The lawsuit caused delays and both Fresnadillo and Cooper ended up dropping out. Now comes word that the suit has been settled and the project is back on track.

From Relativity Media: "The lawsuit between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company concerning 'The Crow' has been amicably settled out of court, and the parties will continue to work on the film together as planned."

The original was great it doesnt deserve a remake. Let Brandon Lee rest in peace.

I think the reboot has a lot of potential & could be a great film, if done right. They could stay closer to the source material, get the creator involved. In the original, Brandon Lee wanted to do it in black & white like the comic book & some characters were left out. If done on cheap, it could be a la Sin City, which sounds pretty badass if you asked me. Although, there's high probability of them getting it wrong, all I'm saying it has the potential...

So much for an original thought out of Hollow-wood .

this remake has "straight to DVD" written all over it. Don't bother.

Should just cast Johnny Depp and make a billion dollars off it

hmmm...well i've said it before once so i'll say it differently this time...whether or not this remake exists, it's a disgrace to the talent, hard work, and effort that the people responsible for the original film went above and beyond for...and to make it more interesting, they signed somebody who had no acting career, who could have had one hell of an awesome career...and now we're simply left with nobody actors who don't even really care about the work they do, which is not hard to understand why, but at the same time...what do they expect?...even if it was dumb at least people were presenting their ideas on screen back then...nowadays to hollywood it's like 'if it doesn't resemble/copycat something, if it doesn't look like lady gaga or justin beiber, it's probably not going to get greenlit'

I just donīt understand why they always have to ruin these classic movies. There is no way they can do better than the 91ī movie. They shouldnīt have done the II, the III and the TV series. Donīt screw the classic please!

Oh no. I'd rather have the corpse of Brandon Lee dug up and be in this movie than to have another actor be in this part.

Today's lesson: Money always prevails over decency.
