"The Dark Knight Rises" Scene Description with Spoilers

"The Dark Knight Rises" Scene Description with SpoilersSubmit Comment
LA Times has released an interview with Anne Hathaway, who plays Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises." But before the interview, the article features a description of a scene that can be considered a spoiler.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

Scene description: Gotham City is a war zone. A ruthless madman named Bane has ripped away any sense of security and the citizens, haggard and clutching suitcases with refugee anxiety, sit behind barbed wire waiting to see what will blow up next. A hooded prisoner is dragged in - it's Bruce Wayne, one of Gotham's most famous faces – but the eyes of the crowd go instead to the woman in black standing at the top of the staircase.

"Sorry to spoil things, boys, but Bane needs these guys himself," says sultry Selina Kyle, played here by actress Anne Hathaway, navigating the steps with stiletto heels that, on closer inspection, turn out to have serrated edges capable of leaving nasty claw marks in a fight. She also wears high-tech goggles that, when not in use, flip up and resemble feline ears.

Cool scene, but Catwoman was never quite this evil in the comics. Nolan must hate women, as he rarely ever portrays them in a strong, positive way.

then Nolan had a hard time getting laid so he uses women as objects or probably likes men.

Darkknight Rises budget is probably one of the most expensive movies to date and i'm only halfway excited.

Women are the kindest creatures on Earth

And yes, I know the article doesn't support my initial opinion.

Food for thought, my fasting 'friends'.

Actually, bando, if you possessed the ability known as 'reading', you might be persuaded by the author's conclusion that Nolan doesn't objectify women within his films.

So she is more bitchy and mean than Michelle Pfeiffer´s Catwoman..... And cool with that.... By the way, in some way that is describe it the scene looks like they took it from a nazi film, people holding suitcases and barricade it behind barb wires. This comes to my mind of Schindler´s List.....

I just hope this movie is as good as Batman Begins.

@bad

me too,cause 'the dark knight' was average at best.

Hilary swank was in insomnia. Yet I'm not sure you can call her a woman.as that bitch looks more manly than half of the actors in Hollywood today. So mink you might have a valid point. But this scene description leak is pretty pointless as when know bane takes Gotham that Batman gets f*cked up and has to put into that immortal sh*t that brought back Ken Wantanbe's character on Batman begins. Plus Michael Caine said awhile back that ends up taking care of them after a huge battle
And them are most likely Batman and catwoman

@Rambo I watched Begins last week and was so much more into it than TDK. Sure it had its moments and Ledger, but it was missing some that Begins had.

NOW you people want to say Batman Begins is the better film...lol.

@Minkowski

Rarely portraying them and not never portraying them does not lend to the idea that he "must hate women".

Look as far as Rachel in the Batman series as your first example.
