Adam Sandler Working on "Grown Ups" Sequel

Adam Sandler Working on "Grown Ups" SequelSubmit Comment
Sony Pictures has decided to move forward with a sequel to last year's "Grown Ups" comedy, which starred Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider as five friends who reunite over the 4th of July weekend.

Sandler has never appeared in a sequel. And while his production company is developing "Grown Ups 2," he has yet to make a deal to star in it. His involvement will heavily depend on the script, which is already being written by Fred Wolf (Grown Ups, Black Sheep, Joe Dirt).

"Grown Ups" costs $80 million to make and went on to gross $162 million domestically and another $109 million internationally.

He's saving all his sequel appearances for another Sandler run. He'll start back at the beginning and do all sequels to all his movies in the order they originally came out.
Brilliant

Wash Ups... actors who are no longer part of credible cinema unite for a sequel on arguably one of the worst commercial comedies since 1943.

His career is summed up perfectly with this timeline in picture form, for all you picture readers out there (Rabid).

There is a reason there are no sequels to Adam Sandler movies...they suck. Except Hally Gilmore.

@Cinema... '43... the year, or the John Belushi movie 1941?
Rambo writes:

he should make a sequel instead to some of his comedies that were actually funny like anger management or happy gilmore

A sequel to a movie nobody saw. These guys must have more money than I thought.

@ranger. I love 1941. It gets a bad rap and speilberg is always apologizing to fans for it. I don't know why. Its just a good fun zany comedy. Dan aykroid and belushi were great in it. I like the ferris wheel rolling down the street and belushi flying through downtown thinking hes chasing a zero. Gold!

Never appeared in a sequel? He plays the same character in every damn movie!

Adam Sandler should work on a sequel to his 'acting' 'career'.

Suggestion: Israeli terrorist victim.

Jack and Jill was his first movie that I refused to even give a chance. Doing this sequel would be nothing more than damage control. You could easily tell by the trailer that it would be epic bad. And judging by reviews and box office. Possibly career threatening. f*ck u sandler for ruining my trust. You took my trust, stuffed it up your ass , eat a lot of beans and beefarino. Then took a nap to let it stew. Then took a massive dump on my heart.

Don't get me wrong... a sequel really isn't needed, but if its funny, f*ck why not!?

The only Sandler movie worth of sequel is Airheads, as long as his role is limited like in the first one and have another Lemmy cameo.
