A while back, Columbia Pictures screened an 8-minute trailer for David Fincher's "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." That trailer has now appeared online featuring more footage than you may want to see. But if you want a part of the movie ruined for you, check out the trailer below.

Plot: One fateful day several years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared off the secluded island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger family. There was no corpse, no witnesses and no evidence. Nearly forty years later, investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Craig) reluctantly accepts the unusual and seemingly unsolvable assignment of finding out what really happened to Harriet. Genius hacker, Lisbeth Salander (Mara) is drawn into the case and the two form a fragile alliance as they dig into the sinister past of the Vangers and find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves and each other.

The new movie stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, Max von Sydow, and Christopher Plummer. It's set to hit theaters on December 21st.

Garbage and poorly written tripe. Rooney Mara just ain't right for the role either, and somehow, I don't feel Daniel Craig is either. The Salander character is also annoying too. She's a misfit genius, PLEASE! Spare me.

Sorry but I don't think Max von Sydow is in this one, unless he's uncredited. He and Christopher Plummer look alike, of course, but I'm not sure how his name got in the credits.

I liked, what can I say. Ruined by this¿? no way, I already had saw the original and I know how it ends the trilogy. What attacts me of Mr. Fincher, he is a good director making thrillers. Seven, The Game and Zodiac, are good examples of their execution of developing a good suspense until the end. Definetly this one, even is a remake, is not going to dissapoint.....

Fincher will start remaking his own films next. Or sequelize them. Panic Room 2: Tight Squeeze. Eight. And so on.

RIP David Fincher, Michael Mann, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis...
