"Riddick 3" is Back on Track After Overcoming Money IssuesPosted: November 28th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
About a month ago, rumors started spreading that Vin Diesel's new "Chronicles of Riddick" movie, called "Riddick," had to halt production because the owner of the Montreal studio where the film was being shot closed the doors to the facility until he was paid the agreed-upon amount.
Now comes word that the movie was able to raise enough money to pay all the bills. The owner decided to allow "Riddick" to pick up where it left off, which means production is back on track.
TMZ has learned that the studio was just one of many parties who did not receive payments. At this point, there are still several members of the crew who are still waiting to receive paychecks. But they've been apparently told that checks are on their way.

First off.....great picture! Lol I needed a lol. He looks like hes trying desperately to hold in a fart....while at the same time hoping no one notices he is...can u say awkward ........lol. but on a serious note. STOP GIVING VIN DIESEL movies to make! Hes a terrible actor, and keeps making crap. The ridd*ck stories are decent but his acting is not the shinning spot on a turd. No wonder it took so long to make the 3rd! No one wanted to pony up the dough for you vin? Hes in good movies but they seem to only be good in spite of him not because. At least in saving private Ryan he died early on. Still took forever to die at that.

I don't want anotger one. Since the first one its been crawling towards straight to dvd ever since. 2nd one was borderline. Less money this time means it probably will. Anyway hes on my list of people to punch if I ever met in real life for sure. Now lets be honest though. Id punch him and run like hell to a car waiting for me...and it probably wouldn't hurt him....its just the principle people. A swift hit and a stern NO! Is what he needs.

Yes Diesel sucks but the Rock is ten times worse
but hopefully the supporting cast can save this movie.
Diesel has been the luckiest SOB with both of the last of the fast and the furious movies cause his career was hitting the sh*tter. He must worship Justin Lin.Same thing with Paul Walker

This movie was having money problems, that doesn't sound good to me. It sounds fishy....

I'll watch it for the gang-bang scene.
There is going to be a gang-bang scene, yes?

Loved PB and TCOR was good (directors cut of course), but it could have been much better.
And i've talked to director David Twohy - he is really nice guy and down to earth. He really wants to make this R rated and more closer to the first one.

I'm down for it! Loved the first film, and thought the 2nd was alright. Diesel can act, and that's a fact. If anyone has ever seen Find Me Guilty, where he plays a fat mobster, with lots of jokes, based on a real story. He's great in that one. The scripts for his typical films are oftentimes not the best ones, eh?

Great news.
I hope Ridd*ck 3 gets a R rating and turns out to be better than the second movie.

Twohy and Diesel are insistent on going back to Ridd*cks [R] rated roots. This is why the money issues have been an issue.
I'm just glad it's going to get done now. Can't wait!

This movie f*cking sucks, and I haven't even seen it. Baldy is just hard-up for work. Next thing you know, Nicholas Cage will do 'Con Air 2: When Pigs Fly' and 'Gone in 60 Minutes'.
