Paul Walker in Talks for "District B13" Remake Posted: October 27th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Ever since the French action thriller "District B13" hit theaters and introduced the general public to Parkour, not only was a sequel announced, but also an American remake. Now comes word that Paul Walker (Fast and the Furious) is in talks to star in the remake, currently titled "Brick Mansions," which is also written by Luc Besson and his "Taken" collaborator Robert Mark Kamen. David Belle, who starred in the original film and is credited with creating Parkour, will return for the remake. Walker will play an undercover detective in Chicago chasing a weapon of mass destruction that was stolen by a drug dealer in the ghetto known as Brick Mansions. He seeks help from the incredibly agile Lino (Belle), who knows Brick Mansions better than anyone and is the only person not cowering in fear of the drug dealers.

Still playing the same character like in fast and the furious ain't you PAULY?
At least it'll be in a believeable city like Chicago

Guess we'll never see Paul in a comedy.

Original idea is so much better.

I invented parkour...

I sure hope Walker wont try to do any parkour.
I don't know, but it seems that there has been inflation of parkour in action-movies recenlty. It's everywhere. The sensation is wearing off.

He's going to let Lino escape at the end....

The only time parkour was awesome was the office season premiere couple seasons ago

Ugh, enough with the damn remakes already. "B13" was a very good movie. Lots of fun. Just hearing Walker's name gives me some very serious douche chills.

To my American friends, just watch the French movie and quit supporting this ridiculous nonsense. It's quite good.

Belle would be a great SPIKE for a live action Cowboy Bebop feature
