Aaron Sorkin to Write Steve Jobs BiopicSubmit Comment
"The Social Network" writer Aaron Sorkin recently revealed that during their last conversation Steve Jobs offered him the chance to pen a Pixar movie, but he turned it down out of fear of creating the first bad film in the company's history.

Then came word about two weeks ago that Sony acquired the film rights to "Steve Jobs," the authorized biography by Walter Isaacson, who sat down for over forty interviews with the former Apple co-fonder. And now LA Times has learned that the studio is in talks with Sorkin to write the script for the Jobs biopic.

Book description: Based on interviews with Jobs, as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues - Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

All hail Steve Jobs!!

Jesus H. Christ! From the description that someone wrote about the book about his life I'm thinking that the person that wrote up that little blurb immediately dug up good ole' Steve and did their level best to suck off his corpse's maggot infected penis in the dire hope that they might be able to give him one last happy ending.

Lots of powerful words there, and I'd argue that someone doesn't know the complete definition of the word "revolutionize". Be sort like saying that Internet Explorer 5.0 revolutionized the internet browser industry after Mozilla Firefox 6.0 came out for most of those so called "industries" on that list.

Big whoopy f*cking deal.

Make no mistake, the man was definitely talented and a shrewd entrepreneur, but he sure as hell wasn't the second f*cking coming.

And again there's implication that all that stuff he did single handed, which is a big pile of steaming bullsh*t.

Be like saying that Marconi invented the radio out of thin air, or that the owners of RCA invented the television.

I swear so much damned misinformation and bullsh*t out there like this over-glorification of Steve Jobs that sometimes it seems the world and most people's perceptions of it has become a direct product of what Lenin talked about when he paraphrased William James, talking about how if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.

I swear I'm going to start a f*cking internet rumor that my sperm cures cancer, diabetes, and makes you twice as strong as a can of spinach...

He was nothing more then a marketing genius. He was not an inventor, techno geek, nor second coming of Jesus.

What JohnZee said !

This is so much exagerated, way over the top. I'm already sick of it.

Steve Jobs was good in what he did but He wasn't a genius like Nikola Tesla or Einstein or any real genius.

Visionaries like Steve Jobs reveal the true secret to the Universe in that nothing is impossible with time, perseverance, and positive visualization. Such a passion for furthering human communication inspires. His legacy will survive generations with names like Edison, Tesla as the greatest inventors and visionaries of all time. As an artist, I draw from these inspirations and advancements in my work and you may enjoy my recent portrait of Mr. Jobs, now In Memoriam at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/08/end-of-era-steve-jobs.html
