First Six Minutes of "The Dark Knight Rises" Coming in DecemberSubmit Comment
The first six minutes of "The Dark Knight" appeared in front of IMAX screenings of "I Am Legend" back in 2007, a full eight months before "The Dark Knight" hit theaters.

Now comes word that Warner Bros is planning to release the first six minutes of "The Dark Knight Rises" in front of IMAX screenings of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," which hits theaters on December 21st. In other words, the studio is following the same exact marketing plan.

Since "The Dark Knight" footage quickly leaked online, we are expecting the same thing to happen with "The Dark Knight Rises" footage. Stay tuned.

Just put the movie out

I really dont care seeing all these leaked photos of things like Batman driving the Lambrogini to the KFC or;

Batman using the Batclaw to get him quickly to the 10th floor of Wayne Tower to take a dump in the private Wayne toilet

Nice clever way to guarantee massive ticket sales for your movie.

Guess I'll be going to my local IMAX theater that weekend for that movie. It's a shame I'll have to put up with the Jeremy Renner disaster.

I'm sorry, he's not going to replace Bourne or Ethan. He just won't.

Awesome news.

I hope The Dark Knight Rises turns out to be better than TDK hopefully.

Looks like they figured a way to get comicbook geeks to come out to stomach Tom Cruise acting all John Travolta again with Mission Improbable: Ghastly Picture.

I don't remember any huge blockbuster , which had its plot secrets, and the shooting programme leaked worse than that of TDKR... It's terrible and pissing me off, not to mention they wanna release the opening sequence, obviously whoever will watch that will ruin the film for themselves.. plain stupidity.

Why in front of a Paramount film instead of a Warner film like Sherlock Holmes 2, that also is been release in December┐?

At least MI:4 might be a good movie. The 3rd one was one of the best action movies of all time. yup. I said it. And the first 2 films were garbage. The 4th one, is still only being produced by JJ Abrams, it's still got one of the best (animation) directors of recent time at the helm.. It's certainly should be better than I Am Legend. but at the same time IMAX SUCKS ASS.
