f*ck you "Modern Family"!!!

God damn "progressive Hollywood".

Wouldn't know talent if it bit them on the arse.

Even the depart of Steve Carell couldnīt save him for an Emmy. So Emmy Awards 2011 in my appreciation words: f*ck IT!!!!

This Emmys sucked cause Breaking Bad didn't make the cut off. That show is amazing!! All of AMC's shows are pretty good though.
Devil writes:

f*ck modern family. It's one of the most unfunny and annoyingly gayest sh*t on TV.
Cinemaisdead writes:

plutohiller- You know it, if Breaking Bad made the time frame it would win every category it just wouldn't be fair on the other shows.

I've yet to see Boardwalk Empire or Game Of Thrones but heard they're pretty good, what are peoples views on them? Worth a watch?
DaveThePhotoGuy writes:

@cinema

"Braodwalk Empire" is really good, got a kind of "Casino" "Goodfellas" feel to it.

Steve Buscemi is brilliant, also has the Shannon guy playing Zod in new "Superman" movie.

Havn't seen "Game of Thrones" but heard good stuff myself too.
SeWerin writes:

Game of Thrones is awesome and i haven't read books.

But it's still disappointing that John Noble from Fringe (Dr. Walter Bishop) is not recognized by Emmy. Great actor.

@ismoke - these award shows ARE a joke, but I feel Jim Parsons is a clear winner in that category.

Cheers Dave & Sewerin. That's exactly what I hoped from Boardwalk Empire, Scorsese at his brutal best. I'll have to start watching both series online tonight.

I would have loved to see Sons of Anarchy get something. Katey Segal is so on point on the show it's ridiculous. But I've seen the others in the drama category and I can see where S.O.A. tends to fall short.
Idris Elba really should have won for Luther. That show is beyond great and Elba is fantastic. I just don't think it got enough publicity to generate a win. i really wouldn't mind seeing that ported over to the states. Hopefully HBO or AMC would convert it and bring on Elba or maybe Anthony Mackie or Michael Ealy. It would be great.

Yes, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones are both superb shows. HBO just gets it. And when you get it, you make others want to come there and work which is why they get the best talent out there and keep churning out one spectacular show after another.
The Emmys were so dull and booring. I'm tired of the same folks winning over and over again. Was Mad Men even on last season to deserve a win? Feh all award shows are so suspect anyways. Takes the fun out of watching TV.
Zeroguy writes:

Congrats to Peter, Margo, Kyle and Julianna.
But this sucks. FNL deserved Best Drama, Community deserved recognition, Parks and Rec deserved Best Comedy (and Nick Offerman should have been nominated and won Best Supporting).

But as always, voters are f*cking retards who jump on bandwagons. (Is BBT really that good? Because to me, it's f*cking awful)
Zeroguy writes:
on September 19th, 2011 at 1:35:20 PM

Parsons is horrible. Would have preferred if Carrell won. If not him, then Louis CK.

And yes, Game of Thrones is epic.
But as for Breaking Bad, it's been weak in the last two seasons so far.
DexterMorgan writes:

how the f*ck did mad men win over game of thrones
technoreaper writes:

The Emmy's have no credibility.

It completely ignores shows with multiple minorities like The Wire and Oz, even when critics rave about them.

It's baffling.
