Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis Confirmed for "The Expendables 2"Submit Comment
Millennium Films recently revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis will return for "The Expendables" sequel, but now comes word that the two actors have officially closed their deals for "substantial" roles in the film.

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews and Randy Couture are also all returning. And they will be joined by Chuck Norris, Scott Adkins and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Plot: After Tool (Mickey Rourke) is brutally murdered on a mission, his comrades swear to avenge him. They're not the only ones who want blood. Tool's beautiful young and wild daughter Fiona embarks on her own revenge mission, complicating matters when she is captured and ransomed by a ruthless dictator plotting to destroy a resistance movement. Now Barney (Sylvester Stallone) and the Expendables must risk everything to save her and humanity.

"The Expendables 2" will be directed by Simon West (Con Air) and will begin filming in October for an August 17th, 2012 release.

Awesome news.

I hope Arine has a larger role like maybe having him and his own team of mercenaries teaming up with The Expendables to take down Van Damme and his army.

It would be awesome that Bruce Willis also has a larger role too where he teams up with Van Damme and his team, making him the second main villain.

I am happy that finally these legendary action heroes are putting their differences aside to show those Twliight wannabe action heroes that old school action is back for good.

I really hope this sequel will be better than the first one.

The Expendables is the best action movie of the decade.

I just hope they stick to the Chuck Norris mythology and just make his character so badass that he's basically untouchable. This movie will be great to watch no matter what...I just hope they put down their egos and let Norris kick some f*cking ass.

Yeah some people question why Stallone, Arine and Willis are being together in a movie now when they could of got in one when they are younger but in those days, they were big stars so they didn't want to be in a movie together.

Now that they are older and are being replaced by those Twilight heartrobs Robert Patterison and Taylor Lauther, they have now realised that their days of highest grossing movies are over so they decide to put their differences aside so they can make a fan's dream come true.

If Stallone, Arine and Willis made The Expendables back in the 80's or 90's then it might broke box office record.

Still I find the scene at the church was the biggest thing in action cinema history.

Now that Van Damme, Chuck Norris and Scott Adkins have joined The Expendables 2, let's hope the sequel will better than the first one and breaks box office records.
Ranger writes:

@nawt - 20 years ago all 3 guys were too big of $ makers to all be in the same movie. It would have been a waste of their time, and it would have exceeded the entire budget for the movie.

Now... movies make 100's of millions, or even billions, instead of 10's of millions. And Sly is getting a bunch of these newbies (Couture, etc.) and the older guys (washed up like Jean Claude Van Druggie), Lundgren, etc. for bargain bin pricing.

Sly... smart man.
