Poster for Uwe Boll's "Zombie Massacre" Video Game Film

Uwe Boll is still adapting video games for the big screen, actually the direct-to-DVD market. DreadCentral has learned that he's now focused on a little known 1998 video game called "Zombie Massacre," which was somewhat similar to "Doom."

Boll has decided not to direct this one, but just produce. Instead, the new movie will be directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who just made the recent low-budget zombie movie "Eaters" for him.

The plot synopsis has yet to be revealed, but as with all Boll films, we're expecting a trailer very soon. In fact, DreadCentral says that it may come as early as October. For now, check out a teaser poster for the film.

"Zombie Massacre" is a driving/shooting game for up to four players. The goal is to drive a fully-armed nuclear warhead into the center of a city overflowing with zombies. After depositing the weapon, players will then have to make it out of the city just as quickly as they entered it before the warhead detonates.

"I want to make this movie more creepy than 'House of the Dead,' which was intended to be funny and campy," said Boll. "I'd like 'Zombie Massacre' to be a harsh zombie movie like '28 Days Later.'"

Oh no Uwe Boll is producing now? Please cast Mark Wahlberg,Colin Failure,The Rock and Vin diesel so they can stop making movies that come out in the theater

Bandlero 999, Uwe Boll should cast Shia LeBeouf in this movie and his other movies so that he can stop making awful movies coming out in theaters.

I have to absolute disagree with you about Colin Farrell, The Rock, Vin Diesel and Mark Walhberg because they are making great action and funny movies these days.

Even still Uwe Boll is producing this movie, it is going to be a sh*t movie.

Good one, Bandolero 999.

Uwe Boll is the worst director ever but it is something that he doesn't even give a sh*t about because he is going to make lots of movies and will beat up his critics who piss him off.

Well, at least he's not directing but instead of producing.

Just imagine him producing a Assissain's Creed movie or a Call Of Duty movie.

I like that the poster says:

"There Is No Hope.... Uwe Boll"

Pretty much sums it up.

That zombie looks like a glorified sponge in need of dental work. I am not amused or interested.

Uwe Boll - solidifying his reputation as this generation's Ed Wood one film at a time.

Stapes writes:

I wouldn't write Boll off so soon, yes, most of his "films" are crap, however, he did manage to create two decent films of late: Rampage and Postal are as good and in some respects far better than similar movies in the same genre. With those two films alone, in my opinion at least, Boll redeemed himself and showed that he really can be good under certain circ*mstances. I certainly don't think he deserves the title "worst director ever," especially with Michael Bay, Brett Ratner and some of these other douche bays who have been hired on to remake/reboot and destroy old classics. If anything Boll stands against all that hollywood bullsh*t and because of that he's got my respect.

@Stapes: Everytime you post, my respect to your taste in movies goes way down. Bad Boys and even X-Men 3 were better than every single f*cking Bloodrayne movie.
