Trailer for "Margaret" with Anna Paquin and Matt Damon

Trailer for "Margaret" with Anna Paquin and Matt DamonSubmit Comment
"Margaret" has been in the works since 2006, but it is only that we get a trailer as Fox Searchlight is finally planning to release the film. It stars Anna Paquin, Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo, Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno, Allison Janney and Kieran Culkin. Check out the trailer below.

Plot: "Margaret" centers on a 17-year-old New York City high-school student (Paquin) who feels certain that she inadvertently played a role in a traffic accident that has claimed a woman's life. In her attempts to set things right she meets with opposition at every step. Torn apart with frustration, she begins emotionally brutalizing her family, her friends, her teachers, and most of all, herself. She has been confronted quite unexpectedly with a basic truth: that her youthful ideals are on a collision course against the realities and compromises of the adult world.

The new movie is written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan (writer of "Gangs of New York" and "Analyze This"), and is set to get a limited theatrical release on September 30th.

So, Marc ruffalo burned a red light and kill the woman while crossing. Paquin feels guilty and the story evolves about her guilt & destruction ? Who gives a f*ck !

So this was filmed five years ago? Wtf Hollywood, either release the sh*t or don't film it at all.

Yeah...given how the actors are/look now, this film definitely shows its age.

Which is all the more sad considering it hasn't even been released yet.

@Bullit

YAY! Let's just make a 30 more Transformers or any other Micheal Bay film! Those aren't boring and are cinematic gems that will be remembered for years as the best movies ever made. Or how about we reboot Batman again and then reboot Hulk again. There has to be a few more Super Hero movies that haven't been made that will be as great as Green Latern or Green Hornet. The nerve of Hollywood to make a movie that doesn't involve an explosion every other scene!
