Marvel has been working on several shorts to bridge the gap between all the superhero films the studio has been putting out. Today, Marvel has unveiled "The Consultant" short, which was played at Comic-Con earlier this year.

The video shots SHIELD Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Agent Sitwell (Maximiliano Hernandez) trying to keep Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth), better known as The Abomination, to be part of the Avengers. Their plan is to bring in The Consultant to talk to General Ross (William Hurt).

You can watch the short below. But it will also be included on the "Thor" DVD, which hits stores on September 13th.

I don't think Coulson is human. Could be a Kree, a Skrull, or a LifeModelDecoy, but I think Agent Coulson is more than he appears.

Tim Roth was excellent as the Abomination. The only interesting character in the Incredible Hulk movie. Everyone else was average, even Norton.

Norton was miscasted to play Bruce Banner I prefered Eric Bana or Mark Ruffalo

Who should have done it and done it all along? Ed Norton is a great actor, but not him. After Fight Club and such, we know he could kick anybody's ass. Banner is a nerd and geek. Annoying one to. If you seen L.A. Confidential, or Memeto, Guy Pearce.

what was that f*ckin tone that was playing throughout the whole thing? like someone continuously rubbing their finger around the edge of a glass of water. that was downright annoying. i too can hold down one key on a synthesizer for extended periods of time, can i have a job scoring marvel shorts?

that is awesome love the tony stark ending lol Also heard there will be another with the Cap dvd so I'm looking forward to more of these...

Every time I see Clark Gregg I picture him delivering the line:
"Roses are red, violets are blue... f*ck you whore"

or is it just me?

A little annoying this but is ok.... I still donīt see the purpose of this. If they wanted to make some kind of connection they should make tie-in comics and not this.....

The Consultant was a great short film.

Clark Clegg and Maximiliano Hernandez did great jobs in their roles.

The Consultant is a prequel to The Incredible Hulk and the film did a great job showing that.

Agent Coulson is just too used in these movies to not be important. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a Kree Warrior in disguise, here on Earth under the suspicion of Skrull invasion.

The inner nerd would love to see him revealed as Captain Mar-Vell.
