Hollywood Walk of Fame Will NOT Honor Reality TV StarsPosted: August 25th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Hollywood Walk of Fame's VP of media relations Ana Martinez spoke to CNN about the organizations decision to not honor reality TV stars like Kim Kardashian and Snooki. "It's just not on the radar for us right now," she explained.
The criteria to receive a star on the Walk of Fame includes having awards and honors in entertainment, philanthropic work, and longevity in the field.
But not all reality stars have been banned. "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest has a star commemorating his radio career, and so do Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons, but for their music and not their reality shows.
But what about Judge Judy and Vanna White? They have stars on the Walk of Fame. The organization claims they are considered "successful TV industry personalities" and not "Reality TV stars."
In the end, the goal is to simply "bring the tourists to Hollywood."

Just throwing this idea out there...But I think the city I live in is about to repave the sidewalk in front of the garbage dump, I think it would be a good place to place these peoples name...Their acting goes well with the location..

And after reading this, Snooki suddenly has aspirations to be an actress, philanthropist, and to keep up her career for the next 20 to 30 years.

Good because they're not 'stars.' ANYone that looks up to these people need to get run over.
$65mil. I heard Kim Phat-Ass made last year (could be inflated, who knows, who cares?). What f*cking tools are spending $'s they could use for their retirement on Kim Phat-Ass?!?!
Vanna could tattoo a tramp-stamp star right above her ass upon which I'd pay homage to regularly (and by 'homage' I mean shoot a nice, big, hot load into her bum hole!).

Why would anybody even consider giving these people a star.
Every f*cking idiot who gets famous does not deserve a star.

If a reality show stars gets on the walk of fame....then all media will crumble since people like to honor celebrities with zero talent and creativity will die out forever...

I hope reality stars get their own walk of fame. I'll have a destination in LA for my public defecation.
