Today we have an international trailer for the upcoming "Drive" film, starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Oscar Isaac, Albert Brooks, and Ron Perlman. Check it out below.

Plot: Hollywood stunt driver by day (Gosling), a loner by nature, moonlights as a top-notch getaway driver-for-hire in the criminal underworld. He finds himself a target for some of LA's most dangerous men after agreeing to aid the husband of his beautiful neighbor, Irene (Mulligan). When the job goes dangerously awry, the only way he can keep Irene and her son alive is to do what he does best - Drive.

The new movie is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Bronson) and is set to hit theaters on September 16th.

I know to some this might just look like another Fast and Furious/Transporters/Drive Angry whatever, but it got nominated for the freakin' Palme D'Or at Cannes and won Best Director there as well. The buzz and positive reviews behind this are crazy, I'm very much looking forward to it.

that looks far better than any of the numerous "Fast and Furious" sh*ts all combined together

@ Paul & Velocity:

Yep, I couldn't agree more.

Since "Bullit" with Steve McQueen, there were very few films that had a decent car chase scene as they are quite difficult to shoot that kind of thing. Either the movement of the camera is too close like in the Ridley & tony Scott movies but the real last one is definitely from "The Seven-Ups" with Roy Scheider or "The French Connection" from William Friedkin.

You seemed to have missed out many films there especially To Live And Die In L.A and Ronin, both have real car chases that don't depend on quick cut editing.

All I've heard are great things about this movie. The cast seems pretty on point. I hope Bryan Cranston gets a solid amount of screen time. I can't get enough of Walter White. So pumped for this movie.
