"The Amazing Spider-Man" Sequel Gets a Release Date

"The Amazing Spider-Man" Sequel Gets a Release DateSubmit Comment
"The Amazing Spider-Man" is still a year away from appearing in theaters, but Columbia Pictures is so confident that the film will perform well that it has already greenlit the sequel and has set it to be released in theaters on May 2nd, 2014.

It's not uncommon for studios to do this. With Columbia, it was able to save more than $50 million by rebooting the "Spider-Man" franchise instead of bringing back Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire for a fourth installment.

Since Columbia can pump these films out on a budget, the studio decided to secure one of the most desired release dates, the beginning of May, which is when all three "Iron Man" films will/were released.

I have never liked a Spider Man film, so I doubt I will mark May 2, 2014 on my calendar.

Anime warps the minds of Americans, it's an addictive drug and most people can't comprehend it, but with American cartoons, you get bored after an hour and go outside for once.

Col. Pictures is really laying their balls out on this one. Let's examine how big they really are.. Now where's my proverbial protractor..?

This makes me hope this movie gets lackluster reviews even moreso.

Columbia Pictures: You may hate us, but at least we aren't Twentieth Century Fox.

They're doing to the movies what has been done for years with the comics. Same character new story lines. They'll reboot them over and over again telling new tales from different comic books. AND WE'LL KEEP GOING TO SEE IT CAUSE WE LOVE IT!
