Final "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" Episode: Cyrax and SectorSubmit Comment
Warner Bros has unveiled the ninth/final episode of "Mortal Kombat: Legacy," the digital series directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame). Watch the entire 10-minute episode below (or in hi-def) and check out the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth episodes.

Plot: Cyrax and Sektor are chosen to be the future of the Lin Kuei by the Grand Master, but Cyrax is less than enthusiastic about giving his life over to a cybernetic transformation that will erase his memories and turn him into the ultimate fighting machine. When he discovers that the cyborg he is fighting seems closely familiar, Sektor must keep Cyrax focused on destroying Hydro, and not himself or their future.

The series stars Jeri Ryan ("Star Trek: Voyager) as Sonya Blade, Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight) as Jax, Darren Shahlavi (300) as Kano, Matt Mullins as Johnny Cage, Aleks Paunovic as Shao Khan, Saman-Tha Tjhia as Kitana, Jolene Tran as Mileena, Ryan Robbins as Raiden, Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion, Kevan Ohtsji as Sub Zero, Shane Warren Jones as Cyrax/Hydro, and Peter Shinkoda as Sektor.

What took so long?

It was a f*cking awesome short. Fortunately they're making Season 2. It wouldn't make sense to leave it where it is.

Alex - Bud, you misspelled Sektor. It's Mortal Kombat, everything's spelled with a "K", not a "C". Duh...we live in America. lol

Taco - Did you NOT noticed why it might have took so long? It's an incredibly low budget production based around Mortal Kombat, did you not see how much CGI they used in just a span of 10 minutes? Do you realize how long that would that to not only design from scratch and build it up, and THEN the wait time on Rendering??? It would take FOREVER! There's 3 robots, PLUS the make-up art and greenscreen to Cyrax & Sektor being ripped apart and wired. That's a lot of time and work, mind you.

That being said, it was an incredible episode for a 10 minute, next to nothing, low budget short. Can't wait for a Season 2.

Not bad at all.

Awesome episode, the special effects were great and the fight scenes are the best part.

I hope there will be Season 2 maybe introduce Liu Kang, Goro and great characters.

The best episode yet.

With that low-budget I am quite surprised.

This was pretty good.

BUT STILL, I think they could have pulled off both robots with people in suits.

:/ This episode was kinda meh... sorry. I loved the whole show though. Even the Kitana and Millenna episode. Scorpion/Sub0 and Johnny Cage were the best.

Hopefully we do get a Season 2

Have yet to watch one of these episodes and I won't start now.

The only reason I'd watch this is to catch a nip-slip of Jeri Ryan.

Sorry, but gotta be honest about it.

Wow. Tough call.

Don't know which had the better special effects : The TAMPAX commercial with the lady in mid air talking about her tampon or the special effects in this segment.

Well, now we know the reason Ryan Dunn committed vehicular homicide and suicide ... to avoid these f*cking segments.

Best one yet. If they do make a season 2, I'd love to see Smoke, and LIU Kang.

Impressive, very impressive. Good design of the cyborgs and the story was well put together. If they make season 2, they should know how to put it together a well crafted story and characters to outpull this one. Waiting for next year!!!!!
