Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for the third "Paranormal Activity" film, which seems to be a prequel and will revolve around the two sisters Katie and Kristi, played by Katie Featherston and Sprague Grayden in the first two films. Check out the trailer below.

The new movie is directed by "Catfish" helmers Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman from a script by Michael R. Perry (Paranormal Activity 2). It is set to hit theaters on October 21st.

The first "Paranormal Activity" movie grossed $193 million on a $15,000 budget. The sequel performed just as well by taking in $176 million on a $3 million budget.

Watched the first 2 (cause women eat this sh*t up, and comprimises must be met to see marvel sequels)...

Not at any point in these monkeynut films did i feel scared or interested in why some blankets were moving around. Suck it paranormal activity.

Holy crap!!! Are these guys serious?!?!? PA 1 & 2 are some of the worst horror movies ever. Hell it's even insulting to call them horrors. Incredible waste of time, that got praises by simply brainwashing audience with easy marketing. To hell with this movies and their creators...

Man, I love Paranormal Activity, nothing like taking some gullible girl there, she gets scared, and then my penis comfort comes along.

Ah, for god´s sake! They´re builiding a franchise about a fat chick possessed by Bloody Mary or whatever?? Nothing f*cking happens in these movies, just two hours of doors slamming and floorboards creaking, and that fatass Katie making stupid faces at the camera. Are movie goers gullible to the point of paying to see home movies without sex scenes?? Come on, and people complain about the "Saw" franchise. At least, those films had story and sh*t happened!!
Zippo writes:

The amount of sh*ts i give about this franchise is now in the negatives.

I'll give this one a chance because aside from the PA movies there aren't any decent ghost films out anymore.
I just really hope this doesn't follow the path as Saw and churn out 12 bullsh*t sequels.

time to scare me up some sex, but seriously i dont think these movies are that bad 1 was good 2 not so much, the only unrealistic thing is that its always tape recorded, good ghost movie go watch insidious that sh!t did it right.

Insidious was pretty damn good. PA sucked donkey balls.

Why the prequel why¿? And why the 3 in PA¿? They should called PA 0 not 3.... They should have focus more in this one on resolving the conflict with FBI or police, not to explore the past of the sisters.... OMG Hollywood is really running out of steam!!!!!

I Never began watching these because they were "Good" They just always gave me a good scare lol and i love me a good scare :P

And why the Prequel ?
i would have rather known what happened to the baby at the end of the second...

Paranormal Activity was the boring horror films ever made and so painfully predictable. They get haunted at 3am every single GODAMM morning.......wow!...... Didn't mind the 2nd as it had a bit more variety in it.Dunno about the 3rd tho, judging by the preview,it looks like the secret is already given away.
masht7 writes:

Oh, they're still making these films?
Freudian_Nightmare writes:

Enough with the f*cking video-cameras! Doing it once is fine, twice depending, but not three times. The novelty has worn off! And these aren't even scary.

Bloody Mary? It's all boils down to Bloody f*cking Mary? Good God...

thanks to a word of mouth, i think i'll check out insidious...i keep hearing about how good it is...must be as good as people say...regarding paranormal activity, all i ever hear people say about it is that it's a piece of sh*t excuse for a horror movie...luckily, i never payed a penny to see these...one was rented from netflix not on my account, and the 2nd on redbox, also not on my account...and now for two films that successfully had me not entertained...i can pass on this and rest assured that i won't be missing anything...besides, it'll ruin the ending for the 2nd one, which was ruining the ending for the 1st one, because she dies that night in the first film right?...don't remember and don't really care...the more people learn about its hype of success, the more its numbers will decrease
