Everyone expected for the Tumbler/Batmobile to make an appearance in "The Dark Knight Rises." And according to a photo from the Pittsburgh set, it will, and apparently it won't have any modifications. The photo also confirmed that the Batpod will be in the movie as well. Check out the photo below.

The trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" should be playing in front of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2," which is now in theaters. If you can't wait to see the official version, check out the bootleg version here.

This third and final installment in the Christopher Nolan trilogy is set to hit theaters on July 20th, 2012.

The Tumbler still looks bad ass to me. I know that The Dark Knight Rises will be bad ass. I hope the story is greater.

People keep saying it won't have modifications, except for the fact that there are only 3 wheels on.this tumbler

You ha no idea..... And talking a little bit about the The Tumbler and The Batpod, who wonders if one of them is used by Catwoman and the other by Batman, how about that oneż?

Tumbler Spotted on "The Dark Knight Rises" Set

WOW

Wouldn't be more of a story if it was spotted on the set of Spiderman

The Tumbler will be needed to run over all the villians the Batman will have to fight in this because he will be overwelmed if it comes to hand to hand combat

By the way what is the current villian count now 211 or something

I would love to see a bat plane, even though feom the sound of the plot, i don't see a reason for a bat plane.

minkowski writes:

Hey Nolan, I have a few suggestions for the next Batmobile: The Stumbler. The Rumbler. The Crumbler. The Mumbler. The Fumbler. The Numbler. The Dumbler.

See, I can do it too.

And it's called *drumroll* The Tumbler even though it never actually tumbles. Because calling it the f*cking Batmobile like every-f*cking-one else over the last 60 years just isn't quite good enough for our pretentious Mopey the Director, esquire.

minkowski writes:

It's quite humorous to think that people actually believe The Tumbler is a real-life military vehicle.

I hate (not really) to break your manchild hearts, it is not. That's just the f*cking film origin story for something that was designed by concept artists and prop mechanics.

Really f*cking sad that a generation of young men are so lost in sh*tty video games, vapid comics and frosted breakfast cereal they can't distinguish between f*cking fact and f*cking fiction. Must be why they're incorrigibly ignorant.
DUDEabides87 writes:

Dude i was IN the military, I'm well aware the tumbler isnt a real military vehicle. In the movie it was a military used vehicle. Which is what i meant. Its by far the most realistic and is actually drivable and does in the movie what it does in reality (aside from jumping)

This movie already has double the hype of the dark night so thats already a bad thing and Ill catch a bootleg of this one.

jikae writes:

It's only sort of "news" worthy because the Tumbler was destroyed in TDK. This only means, that, they brought it back instead of getting a brand new ride. I myself would've liked to see some kind of upgraded looking ride instead of the same thing.
jikae writes:

Except that now I notice it, xxjoe's right. There are only 3 wheels, possibly making it more narrow?
