Christian Slater Joins Sylvester Stallone's "Headshot" Thriller

Christian Slater Joins Sylvester StalloneSubmit Comment
Sylvester Stallone's "Headshot" action thriller had trouble finding the right director and recently fired Thomas Jane for being white. Now that Walter Hill is set to direct and Sung Kang (Fast Five) has been brought on as Jane's minority replacement, everything seems to be back on track.

Variety has learned that Christian Slater (True Romance), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje ("Lost," "Oz") and Holt McCallany (Three Kings, Fight Club) have all been cast in the film.

Slater will play a local handler who acts as a middleman, while McCallany will play a dirty cop who's partners with Kang. Akinnuoye-Agbaje will play the main villain, a powerful attorney who's trying to cover up his scam to exploit poor neighborhoods that have been ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.

"Headshot," which is based on the "Bullet to the Head" graphic novel, stars Stallone as a New Orleans hitman who teams with a New York cop (Kang) to take down the killers of their respective partners.

Good for you, Slater. I almost thought that you had given up on the acting. It's funny, he once had a promising career and then, suddenly, it all disappeared.

True Freudian, i liked him in his early works. But for some reason the guy went to Uwe Boll and other B-movies.

Same thing happened to Val Kilmer.

Anyway, back on topic. Still can't forgive Stallone for changing the director and replacing Thomas Jane

Slater as a dirty cop...where did I see that before?

I still won't see this movie. Stallone is not all that great in my opinion and you don't disrespect us whites and get away with it.

good for Slater but he's gonna have a crappy supporting role like in Windtalkers,Mindhunters, Interview with the Vampire,3000 miles. He wont save the movie, the Fast and the furious Korean and Homoa is bad enough.

Sly is Italian and Jane is Probably of European descent.Fail

"stars Stallone as a New Orleans hitman who teams with a New York cop (Kang) to take down the killers of their respective partners."

Uh huh. So, an Asian New York cop runs off to the backed-up toilet of New Orleans, teams up with an 70 year old Italian steroidal hitman and starts wacking some bad guys.

That's about right.

I don't watch too much Slater. Mainly because he isn't in that much. But I like the movie 'Murder in the First' - Kevin Bacon was spectacular. Slater is still a Nicholson wannabe. I mean really... mimicking Jack's voice, permanently?!

As for this... only care about The Expendables sequels. Whatever else Sly does is his business.

Still haven't seen Gleaming the Cube.

Slater's perfect match character was canceled a few months back by the c*nts at the Fox network. He probably won't get that shot again.

Christian Slater Joins Sylvester Stallone's "Headshot" Thriller

Slater's been on a role :

1. My Own Worst Enemy - Cancelled after one season

2. Dolan's Cadillac - Straight to DVD. Never rented.

3. Breaking In - Cancelled after one season. Slater still doesn't f*cking know what a MEME is.

4. Headshot - .... ? Christian Slater's Killshot ?

* The turning point of Christian's career not only jumping the shark, but getting eaten by that same f*cking shark : KUFFS.
