Today we have a brand new trailer for "Immortals," starring Henry Cavill (Superman), Stephen Dorff, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, John Hurt and Mickey Rourke. It is directed by Tarsem Singh (The Cell) and is set to hit theaters on November 11th. Check it out below.

Plot: The brutal and bloodthirsty King Hyperion (Rourke) and his murderous Heraklion army are rampaging across Greece in search of the long lost Bow of Epirus. With the invincible Bow, the king will be able to overthrow the Gods of Olympus and become the undisputed master of his world. With ruthless efficiency, Hyperion and his legions destroy everything in their wake, and it seems nothing will stop the evil king's mission.

As village after village is obliterated, a stonemason named Theseus (Cavill) vows to avenge the death of his mother in one of Hyperion's raids. When Theseus meets the Sybelline Oracle, Phaedra (Pinto), her disturbing visions of the young man's future convince her that he is the key to stopping the destruction. With her help, Theseus assembles a small band of followers and embraces his destiny in a final desperate battle for the future of humanity.

This really isn't a good film with which to introduce Cavill to American mainstream prior to Superman.

Hope Cavill is better at being Superman.

I love that set up. A village dies...a hero is born. Marc Singer style.

@bandolero999: Have you even f*cking seen KoH? Christ, you sound ridiculous. Maybe I'm mistaken though, and any movie with a sword is simply ripping off other movies with swords.

Kingdom of Heaven, a three hour trip into Crusade history, as told by a lobotomy patient.

I think it actually looks pretty good except for Cavill trying to do his best Aragorn/Leonidas/William Wallace impression with that terrible speech. Which writer got fired for that idea?

why not just call this 300 part 2: electric boogaloo. its clearly just another monochromatic-greenscreened-steriods-dudes-in-gay-armor-speedramped-within-an-inch-of-its-life turd of a movie.

man, that dude has milked that annoying REM video for ALL it's worth.

While it's a film by Tarsem whose passion project "The Fall" was reportedly made for $7-12 mil. and looks like it cost about a billion, this one looks bad.

There's no epic. All those scenes look like they were shot on a soundstage the size of a living room.

The camera angles look "limited". Like they couldn't take wider shots so that grandmas rocking chair wouldn't get in.

This looks gayer than the last trailer and that main character has about as much acting ability as Sam Worthington... pull a "blue steel" then shout a little bit. He's got about as much range as a borrowers bow and arrow. Some shots look ok but it's trying way to hard to be 300. FAIL

This looks like complete and utter garbage. The visuals look dated and cheesy, the acting is god awful, and the dialogue seems like it was written by a thirty two year old virgin doing 300 fanfiction.

This one will be epic!
