I never saw any Lens Flare in 'MI:3'. 'Star Trek' had flares in every single scene. I haven't seen 'Super 8' yet.

But I will say this, I do like those little aspects that make a certain director's work recognizable. Like John Woo's stuff, you can tell. You can certainly tell a Spielberg film.
It's like Hip Hop producers as well. You can tell a DJ Premier track, or a Dr. Dre track or Neptunes. Their sound is so unique and they put their own musical flares on it.
