Trailer: Mark Hamill's "Airborne" Horror Film

Posted: June 16th, 2011 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Trailer: Mark HamillSubmit Comment
Today we have the official trailer for the upcoming horror film "Airborne," starring Mark Hamill (Star Wars) and Alan Ford (Snatch). Check out the trailer below which inappropriately uses the music from "Inception."

Plot: As a snowstorm closes in, one final plane takes off. The plane reports to the ground that both pilots are dead, while the slowly dwindling number of passengers on the plane wish that they'd never left the ground.

"I was attracted by the idea of making what is basically a feature length version of the 'Terror at 20,000 Feet' segment of 'Twilight Zone The Movie,'" said producer Jonathan Sothcott.

The new movie is set for release next year.

WTF is going on the airplaneż? People killing themselves, having sex, ..... In other case, is DEVIL 2 but in the air. This will suck big time!!!!!

Isn't that a 1:1 copy of the Red Eye poster?

Using Inception's trailer soundtrack.........now that's lame.

Looks more like a reboot/remake of 'executive decision'.

@Johnny, if I'm not mistaken The Narrator (Hamill) did mention it is the flight 666.

Inappropriately? Really? Really? 'Mind Heist' wasonly from the Inception trailer, not the film. Trailer music has been used multiple times over.
Hamil and Ford in a movie again, just a different Ford. xD

Looks like Luke finally went to the dark side.

Needs to get back on the YODA training regimen

He may be out of touch with his Saber

That makes no sense, the plane reports to the ground? Is it a Hal type computer plane or did one of the stewardesses report this? Passengers wish they never left the ground... They're in an evil talking plane with 2 dead pilots, you wouldn't exactly be happy to be thousands of feet in the air.

I'm surprised this didn't end up on sy-fy, they always have the best films of high quality.

Hamill has taken it up for dark side for years.

No wonder he wanted to nail his sister in Star Wars. He really wanted Han but felt he was unattainable.

Straight to DVD. Should have stayed retired Mark.

Mark Hamill is an awesome actor... at least in terms of voice-over. He also made "Comic Book: The Movie". I'll give this a shot, just for him, even if it looks cheap and campy.

mark Hamill starred in a war movie with Lee Marvin called the Big Red One highly recommend it.It was released in 1980

He's of an age now that if he grew a beard he would make a great old Luke* for the Star Wars sequels that will never get made.

*+ Diet.

So this is something like the first part of The Langoliers, right, but starring that fat old guy from Star Wars. You know, the ones made back when reagan had a brain and wasn't an undead zombie?

Directed by Dominic Burns btw, whoever the f*ck he is.

Well it's no secret that that wiley old dog Mr Burns like to put it about.

Requiem for a Dream's score is used many times in other different trailers, and IMO to good use. I wouldn't say "inappropriately".
Attos writes:

@sc_kg

Agreed on him being a great voice actor. I was sad to hear him retire from being The Joker. Though the guy who plays Bender on Futurama and a million other characters did a fine job in UtRH.

And as far as using music from another trailer, I've always thought that complaint to be a little ridiculous. Good music is good music, and in movies and trailers it belongs wherever it fits. It shouldn't matter where it was heard first.
