Jason Biggs and Sean Astin Join "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" TV ShowSubmit Comment
Nickelodeon has announced that the voice cast for the upcoming CG-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" TV show, which is currently in production and is set to premiere in fall of 2012.

Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings) will voice Raphael, who is the biggest and toughest of the brothers, and has little patience for stealth operations, hiding in the shadows or keeping his voice down.

Jason Biggs (American Pie) will voice Leonardo, who is considered to be the leader of the turtles, aspires to be the perfect hero around his three smart-aleck brothers.

Greg Cipes ("Teen Titans") will voice Michelangelo, who is enthusiastic, easily distracted, loves pop culture and is always trying to get in on the latest fad.

Rob Paulsen (Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil) will voice Donatello, who is the reclusive, yet utterly brilliant team inventor who is able to cobble together fantastic weapons from things scrounged from a trash heap. Paulsen also voiced the original Raphael from 1987-1996 in the first series.

So, how many f*cking times are they going to do this low-demand show? I mean, I've heard of milking the cow, but a turtle? They don't even have nipples.

you can milk anything with nipples...

Well, there's folks on here that can milk a bull, if ya know what I mean...

No, feldman's doing Splinter, but only because he's hung like a rat.

because they both really need the paycheck especially RUDY

Why bother paying them to do the voices? I can't see Astin or Biggs drawing in a larger audience. Why not just use regular voice actors?

Im ok with everybody cast in this except jason biggs. i hope while on his way to start filming he gets hit by a bus and dies. f*ck jason biggs that piece of sh*t actor.

With the exception of Paulsen, this cast f*cking sucks. Cancel the cartoon, and make another live action film and use awesome actors

So does this mean Raphael or Donatello are going to f*ck an apple pie too?

I'll never understand why Hollywood stopped hiring voice actors. Not only are they cheaper better performers but kids don't give two sh*ts about celebrity voices. "Look mommy Bill Murray is Garfield! I really wanna' see that now!"

donatello ftw!

They are shooting themselves in the foot with this one. Kids today don't care enough or at all about TMNT and those of us that would care enough hold it against the previous version and will piss on anything today that doesn't live up to it.

So cool that a voice actor from the original series will be working on this one, but wouldn't it have made much more sense to have him voice Raphael again?

@Bunny - you're wrong there, my mother works at a child care center and the kids there love the turtles, and i know many other kids who cant get enough and a heap of nostalgic adults who still love the sh*t. I know there hasn't been too many 'great' entries in the franchise in a long time, but i for one am hoping the new live action version does it some justice. Who knows, maybe this cartoon will be good, as with all things ya just have to wait and see.
