Darren Aronofsky's "Noah" May Actually Happen

Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Wrestler) previously revealed that he has been wanting to make a Noah's Ark movie since he was a little kid. The problem is that he didn't have too many financiers interested in funding his $130 million film. As a result, he decided to first develop a "Noah" comic book in hopes of convincing the studios.

Deadline has now learned that Aronofsky may not need to wait for the comic book to be released. New Regency has expressed interest in co-financing the movie, while Paramount, Fox and Summit may step in to provide the rest of the budget.

Aronofsky wrote the script for "Noah," but has now handed re-writing duties to John Logan (The Last Samurai, Gladiator). If everything goes as planned, "Noah" may be the helmer's next project.

That's okay. Noone gives a sh*t really other than those fundamentalist Christians who are just buying their time till the real "rapture" happens.

Yeah. Right.

*** Oh! Spoiler Alert! ***

He builds an ark.

They load up two of every animal.

A flood happens, wiping out all the Earth, except for the ark.

The flood stops.

The ark lands on some mountain called Siani (or some sh*t), on which later a hospital is named.

Audience gets bored.

Demands money back.

Aronofsky winds up having to direct porn.

Afronsky is overrated! Black Swan and The Wrestler were both effectively the same film.

What's the bet Noah ends the same as these other two movies?

2 of every animal on the same boat which theoretically would be the size of a small country to fit them all on. Lions living in harmony with zebras, 2 c*ckroach having a little chat with couple of sloth. What is going through Arofonosokoonsys head, I wanna know the guys thought process on this thing.
