Second Villain in "The Avengers"?

Second Villain in "The Avengers"?Submit Comment
We already know that the main villain in "The Avengers" will be Thor's evil step-brother Loki as he uses the cosmic cube to get The Skrulls to invade Earth. But LatinoReview claims that the film will have a second villain.

That villain is Thanos, who first appeared in an "Iron Man" comic back in 1973. The character's name is a derivation of Thanatos, the personification of death and mortality in Greek mythology.

While this has yet to be confirmed, there was a clue that Thanos might make an appearance when The Infinity Gauntlet glove appeared on display at last year's San Diego Comic-Con. The glove was crafted by Thanos to harness the power of the Infinity Gems.

Infinity Gauntlet at Comic-Con:

Loki, The Skrulls and now, Thanos? That's too much.

Btw, just because the gauntlet is there doesn't necessarily means that Thanos will be in the movie. Same thing with CA and Thor.

YES! Thanos is definitely one of the more complicated Marvel villians. And I bet he actually is in the movie, without Thanos there is no Inifinity Gauntlet.

If you say so WP and San Diego Comi-Con.

You just killed Christmas for Jake.

Lots of huge jewels and a large fist, right up Jake's alley.

Alley, anus...

Throw in a gerbil and Jake has his weekend planned out.

Five finger discount. What Jake calls a free prostate exam.

^ make it five knuckles and Jake is in for a treat. Though I doubt even that is an exam for his ass.
Back to the topic though - that is a glove Michael Jackson would envy

You know, they try so hard to make all of these films (except maybe Thor) grounded, but then they go and do this.

It's stories like this that only work in animation, and not in live action - not without looking like some bad, 80's attempt.
Kurskij writes:

@mink

I wouldn't bring anyone "back" to Jake... But he'd love that glove. Big brass in the ass, right, Jackie-boy?

@blump

That Jake guy is someone to f*ck you in the ass without having a decency to give you a reacharound. Comic question of the day: still interested?

This actually makes total sense- Loki will ally himself with Thanos, bringing the depth of Asgard to the real world, having Thor being emotionally involved for that reason- leaving Cap and IM to have a pissing contest over who's more fit to lead.

I like it.

You'd be a dummy to believe anything you read in Latino Review without proof. They're like the supermarket tabloid version of a movie news site... yknow, like this site.
